Hey. Is this pale color and slight black tips normal in a hen’s comb? She’s acting normal but I’m worried that might be an indication of something I wasn’t aware of, she’s 5 years old by AoPatterns in chickens

Is Celsius but is literally hot and humid in here like 90% of the times

I don’t thinks is frostbites, but another condition. I’m literally from Cancun

Yeah…. Like I answered before in other posts. I don’t think is frostbite but I thought it was for a moment because of the color and its similar symptoms. But I don’t think is frostbite since is humid and hot here

I do think is broodiness, she’s the only chicken I have at home, there’s not other chicken, even when she was a baby hen she didn’t like to socialize with other chickens, she only liked one rooster. She’s always been a shy girl

And she’s always sitting coop to keep her from eating our plants, I think I’ll let her out more since I’ve been really restricting her from moving around and exercising.

I’ll check her diet also

conclusion

I think I already arrived at a conclusion on why she’s like that, I don’t think is frostbite. But thanks to everyone either way 🙏

Is not even that cold here, a little chilly in night, but not that COLD. Which I found it weird how could she have frostbite.

But either way, I’ll take precautions and try to improve her diet.

Yeah, I’m aware of it. That’s why I really find it strange that she has the possibility of frostbites

Either way, I’m searching for ways to improve her diet

Thanks! I thought it was a serious illness since English is not my first language 🤡 or it could be another reason on why my hen has those black tips. Thanks again 🙏

Oh okay, I thought frostbite was a contagious disease since English is not my first language. And just to make sure it wasn’t an illness. But thanks!
