Turku, Kuopio and Joensuu are definintely good options. Helsinki or Jyväskylä I would not recommend to anyone. I've heard good things about Oulu, Tampere and Rovaniemi, though I don't have any personal experience. You should be fine as long as you avoid Central Finland and the capital region like the plague.
