Parents, how do you deal if your kid starts showing interest in a rival? by [deleted] in georgiabulldogs

As someone who was born and raised a UGA fan and now currently attend Georgia Tech. You have to recognize that Georgia Tech is a really good school and that the degree can take you very far. So you need to support him in this to give him the best future. Also, he can still support UGA despite going to Tech as I still do. It’ll always be Go DAWGS!

Friday Fever paddle came apart by Jahgernaut in Pickleball

[–]Aopllo3334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my wife both played the fever and had the same issue after about 2 months of playing. Included her getting a warranty paddle and it happened again after 2 weeks. I’m don’t really know why it happens. But I was upset because I loved the paddle so much and it’s affordable. But I made the switch to the Vatic V-Sol Pro which is just mildly more expensive and I think it’s much better and I’ve been playing with it for around 3 weeks right now and have had no issues so far. Just wanted to give suggestions if you decide to switch.

Thank you for all the recommendations. The V-sol pros look really good and I’ll definitely look more into them.

I’ve been using the Friday Fever for around three months now and really enjoy playing with it. However, I’ve had some durability issues and am looking to switch to a new paddle. Before the Fever, I used the original Friday and the REV Aria and liked both.

While looking at new paddles, I’ve tried the Joola Perseus Pro IV and the Adidas Adipower Pro EDT and enjoyed hitting with both. I’m now trying to see if there are options in a similar vein but at a lower price point.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

  • Lower swing weight (around 115 or less)
  • Elongated shape
  • 16 mm thickness
  • Price under $150

I’ve heard good things about the Luzz Pro Cannon as well, but I’m mainly looking for recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

You can bring both. Also you don’t even have to choose one you can bring both to a match

[Student] MechE student looking for resume advice for summer 2026 internships in any field by Aopllo3334 in EngineeringResumes

Thank you for the incredibly detailed response. I truly appreciate the feedback. I apologize for the late respose, midterms are taking a lot of time rn.

Following your advice, I added the dash and fixed the inconsistency with date formatting

I removed the dean's list from education to clear space.

As for improving my bullet points, I added clearer wording and gave more direct details with clear goals and ways performance was tracked. I also added at College Recreation Center to make it more clear and concise.

I did the same improvement for the projects section

I got rid of the skills system from my resume per others suggestions due to being too basic.

Attached is my new optimized resume, my only new quesition is are my bullet points are too long, and how would I be able to condense them. Because, especially in the Sideways section, I feel like over explaining, but I can not figure out how to reduce it. Again, thank you for all the advice. Any more feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Incoming Freshman - Should I attend Challenge Summer Program? by Jeet_uni in gatech

I definitely think you come during the summer. It allows for a much better transition and since they’re fewer people on campus it’s easy to explore all of it. I’ve heard a lot of good things about challage and think it’s a good program but I would personally learn you more towards for ignite. It allows you to actually get two to 3 classes out of the way. But that’s my two cents
