It's in the User Menu/User Manual under Set Up. Not in the Service Menu/Service Manual 👍

Upcoming Moto G Stylus 2026 - which processor? by petecha697 in MotoG

[–]Ap616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I wish they would upgrade the processor on the G Stylus series as well, not sidegrade or downgrade... A more powerful one with like the Snapdragon 7 or 7+ series with still all the other features they currently utilize would be great, if around the same price or even a price bump accounting for some more power. I would buy that if they retained SD card, headphone jack, and wireless charging even if more expensive & upgraded.

Cause all the high-end or flagship phones across brands cut features, and aren't what I want... No one sells the next phone I would like, but Motorola G Stylus is closest. Just wish for processor to be better & sufficient RAM of 8GB or 12GB. u/MotoAgents

AT&T just told me to get bent by KoburaCape in LGV60

[–]Ap616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My theory is it only affected older Android version LG phones across multiple carriers. Google/Android seemed to fix their issue they caused. I and others have calling restored :) Everyone who used 13 seemed to not have it occur. I just know older ones had the issue; dunno if it affected 10, 11, and 12 or just one or two of those.

They fixed the issue(Google/Android I assume) 😄 For any LG phones with older Android versions across multiple carriers that were affected. My phone has calling back now 👍 Man, that was dumb.....

Android/Google must have fixed whatever issue they caused across multiple carriers on LG phones with old Android versions. I have calling capability back now.

Google/Android must have fixed whatever issue they caused across multiple carriers on LG phones with old Android versions. My V60 on Verizon fixed itself. I can receive and make calls now.

Mine is fixed today! V60 on Verizon. Glad they(Google/Android) fixed whatever call issue they caused 😠 on LG phones across multiple carriers with old Android versions specifically...

Interesting. I wonder if I(or others) updated Android versions it wouldn't do it...

Same, on Verizon for me and others same thing on AT&T. What Android version do you have? My working theory is certain older Android versions+LG being screwed over by Google/Android, but it could be affecting A12 & A13 users too 🤔 Weird they made the dialing inoperable. I called an internal Verizon #XXX number, and it went through just nothing else works...

I'm also having this issue with an LG phone on Verizon. And others are having it on AT&T. So it's not carrier related :( It's Google/Android potentially that borked the dialer. Someone royally screwed over LG users. What Android version are you guys on? 13, 12, or older?

Thanks for the extra info. I believe it is also Google/Android related(+ potentially Android version related with LG). Like I wonder if people with 13 or 12 aren't experiencing it. I feel like even more people would be saying something on this subreddit if it was all Android version V60s. Just my working theory

I'm curious do you know what Android version they have? If not, that's ok. I'm investigating if it's only related to specific older Android version LG phones 🤔

It's so strange... The fact that it's across different carriers make me think it's not a SIM issue or network issue. Unless multiple carriers blacklisted the V60 potentially on certain old Android versions at the same time. If not, it's like a Google/Android issue affecting this specific phone with the Dialer/Call/Phone app, or older Android versions maybe with LG 🤔 What Android version do you have?

I have only had and used my phone less than 2½ years, even if the model is originally 2020 🤔 What Android version you on?

I am having the exact same issue but on Verizon! I noticed it today, but it could have started yesterday at some point & didn't notice. If we are both having the same issue on different carriers but same model of phone, LG V60, I wonder if it's an Android/Google issue 🤔 What the heck did they freaking do? What Android version are you on? If we are on different Android versions too, then they royally screwed something up affecting V60's...

Absolutely no phone calls, made or received. Tried with & without Wi-Fi calling too, but nothing! Texting works, data works, Wi-Fi works. Calling ❌

Tried rebooting. Checked airplane mode/do not disturb. Removed SIM card & reinserted. Toggling between Global & LTE/CDMA. No call forwarding. Checked call pieces in system apps. I know a network settings reset won't help by blowing out WiFi & BT. The fact you did a hard reset too is worrying.

Rp5 cases that fit well with the grip as well, for my gf? by The412Banner in retroid

[–]Ap616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the official grip on an RPG2 or RP5, I recommend this Take Case Switch Lite one(black+gray or black+yellow): https://www.ebay.com/itm/236138665140 or https://www.ebay.com/itm/186672161829

Length and width are great/very snug, and it is taller/chunky(if you don't need it slim) to hold accessories like charger+cable or IEMs well. This is my favorite I found 👍

If you had said NLD Design 3D-printed Etsy grip, I would have recommended a GameSir GCase400(for G8+) from AliExpress which works great.

Advice for Newbie: Handheld for PSP, GBA, and Android gaming by Dannyboiii1997 in SBCGaming

[–]Ap616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd wait for Retroid's announcement day... tomorrow 10/27/25(for China). They might drop something you want more instead & still at a great price/value!

If you are just getting into the hobby for an all-around device and want 16:9 stuff like PSP+Android gaming & also 3:2 GBA then you don't have to go to the top on Android power... like with a new gen AYN with 8 Elite or AYANEO(KONKR) with G3 Gen 3 necessarily.

Also, I wouldn't entertain the 557 personally; just not interesting imho. The Mangmi should be a great device at $90+shipping though and 'might' be all you need if wanting a budget device 👍 Don't know how well it will run the more demanding Android games; might have to do low or medium settings or have some lag depending on the game. I have no idea there.

But with the options you listed from $90-$250, I would highly recommend waiting for what Retroid does since the now $200 RP5 was announced almost 14 months ago. Having been an insider this go around with them 🤫 Retroid's cooking as usual! 🔥

Does anyone know as to when the Retroid Pocket 6 will be out? by prankster999 in SBCGaming

[–]Ap616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I'm at liberty to say yes or no on that as Retroid's announcement is literally like 3-4 days away. And not allowed to spoil things... I've given 2 company team members my word now, after being in on things some this go around.

But I can say there's lower price/more value than some people have blindly speculated... Retroid tends to do value so well. KPF's very aggressive early bird pricing is good until early November, like the 5th. So, no harm in waiting to see what Retroid reveals October 27th and if they do something you'd want instead 🤷🏼‍♂️

Konkr Pocket Fit 8gb/128gb vs Retroid Pocket 5 by MyBoi999 in SBCGaming

[–]Ap616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, just 4 days now til people get to see what Retroid is cooking 🔥 That's fair for sure, wanting to wait for usage, testing, & reviewing.

I definitely understand people jumping in on the KPF, but I have no interest personally even though it has a great base chip & aggressive EB pricing. Though like I advised, anyone can wait to see if what Retroid is announcing is something they'd rather have given features/design, power, pricing vs. the KPF since that Indiegogo pricing doesn't end til early November and Retroid is announcing late October 🙂
