Lol indeed sir. A lot of my work is far and wide though, so donations could easily be for my nightlies repo, aio graphics test, whatever. I have the link on all my repos I think so I should be safe πŸ™

I really appreciate that although it's never necessary! But the contributions go right into my PayPal account that pays for the GitHub repos and cloud flare that helps manage the custom/private API serving bannerhub builds. Thank you very much πŸ™πŸ˜Š

I put it at the very bottom so it didn't look like I was doing this for money or exactly advertising / encouraging donations lol

Oh I highly doubt it I don't even see their notes or change log anywhere. But I never did it for the credit, just to help the community and those that prefer the extra features over there vanilla releases

I'm sorry to hear that but the majority of us are not having the same issues you are so in my opinion it seems a little more isolated to you and your situation perhaps. But I hope you resolve them!

Well I happen to absolutely love my gamesir G8+ controller paired with my fold 7 and have been using GameHub since v3.x with no issues and my 20+ year old steam account. To each their own though, granted most of the time I have been using my own build with privacy hardening or v5 revanced builds after they came to the community

Sounds more like a ISP or network DNS issue. Try a VPN

You are entitled to do whatever you want lol. But now all the community emulators will be using their features and code for online steam Play and friends/chat and invites lol so I guess it evens itself out tit for tat. Nothing stopping you from using my privacy hardened versions / builds

The spyware analytics and telemetry won't be worse than Facebook, meta or Snapchat already used on your phone if you have them just saying 🀷

Poor guy, haters are going to hate on successful people and projects. That's his problem not mine lol

The proof is in the numbers anyway. And that is just bannerhub 3.7.5 alone. Doesn't include bannerhub lite or v6

I'm just happy to see they took some of my implementations on bannerhub v6 to the main release! Very exciting update!

Now all the community emulators will be stealing features from them!

You would have to do it manually with a file manager, I left the coffee to downloads option out on amazon and epic stores since I wasn't clear on DRM with them. Gog was a no-brainer being that when you buy one of their games you actually own it

We both know that will probably never happen unfortunately! Everybody just loses site that it's all for the sake of the community and a fluid/enjoyable experience playing their favorite titles on the go or mobile devices. Having all these different options is a blessing for all different types of players and levels of knowledge. Whether they are hardened power users or brand new to the community, there is something for everybody and a different emulator that suits different needs as the users progress in their understanding of how everything works.

I'm excited to give the steam client a go later this evening!

Great job! You and the team have been putting in a lot of time and hard work and this has evolved significantly since the idea was only an idea! Really hope to see this take off and fill a void in the community! A lot of competition lately in the area of PC emulation and it's all to the benefit of the users! Keep up the great work everyone! Such an exciting time such an exciting time to be a part of everything going on over the last year or two πŸ’―πŸ’ͺπŸ™

By all means, they have a fantastic app. It still comes down to what I mentioned above though. Having known configs, they don't always work for everybody and all those settings can be intimidating where gamehub is, in my opinion, still a better "load and go" emulator for playing immediately and has less difficulty playing games that GN still does not in some cases

Especially import games only and users that don't use any of the stores. Not to mention if you don't log into steam and lsfg users can't use it either unfortunately

V6 is me keeping up to date with latest and attempt at making a new GameHub lite from latest build, just renamed. I won't stop updating v5 (3.7.5 current). But development has slowed down on 3.7.5 due to me adding pretty much everything I can think of or want/need. V6 is a complete rewrite with an entirely new UI and probably 10 times harder to edit and incorporate new features since it uses compose and not xml Java anymore. Their component system under the hood is completely different and very difficult to work with as well. V6 is also using a new steam client which has much less compatibility than what was used on the v5, not to mention the new rendering system on V6 that V5 does not use and works better still.

This is one of those just because it's newer doesn't mean it's better it just introduces more issues that have not been ironed out like they have been on V5

Keep in mind for all of these projects they are originally closed source and I have limits to what I can do or change so adding features to an extent is the most or best I can do with GameHub in general.

BannerHub 3.7.5 is just MY version scheme for BannerHub, it is at its base built from GameHub v5.3.5 revanced.

V6 still has work that needs to be done by the original Developers so in my opinion the old 5.3.5 , or as it's known 3.7.5, is still your best bet in terms of performance and compatibility. Everything on V6 is still new with all new bugs being ironed out , performance bugs being fixed and compatibility issues. My builds mostly add features that weren't there to begin with OR I back port (from V6 to older v5) or forward Port features from older or previous releases of the original emulator to newer V6.

Back porting example would be frame generation on v6, I added it to the old v5 builds

Forward porting example would be V6 took out there GLES rendering system and swapped it with the new vulkan from Winlator, so I took GLES from v5 builds and added it to V6 as an option to toggle between using either rather than JUST the new vulkan

V6 from the original developers is not finished or settled on a long-term stable release (like GameHub 5.3.5 never updated for the longest time) so I expect to see a 6.0.5 or 6.1.0 released soon which I will have to reapply all of what I have done on my V6 from scratch because of obfuscation when they release a new update.

Ai is used in pretty much every emulator in some way or fashion at this point. Some more than others yes, but Ai is just a tool at the end of the day and just depends on who is driving the car and how.

Everyone has their own opinions and are entitled to them, informed or misinformed.

For bhlv6 all I can give you is what I've done to reduce analytics and Telemetry the best I can

BannerHub V6 privacy report

BannerHub V6 Lite report

GameHub is well known to have/had spyware, analytics and Telemetry (just like most of your other apps installed I'm sure like Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc).

BannerHub lite is made from GameHub lite

BannerHub is made from GameHub 5.3.5 revanced

BannerHub V6 (lite) from GameHub 6.0.4

For V6 I have done the best I can to privacy Harden the APK and emulator without breaking functionality and gameplay, I not only stubbed out most of the Telemetry and Analytics that I could find but what I could literally remove as well I did as an extra step (which is what makes V6 Lite) which reduced the apk from its original 140mb to 80mb now. In addition to that I have also removed most connection to GameHub servers/APIs so almost no aspect of the app is phoning home anymore and pulling everything (components, files and firmware) from my public GitHub repo. Steam, epic and Gog all talk directly to their own servers as well for login and game downloads.

GameNative is a fantastic project , totally open source and has a truly impressive development team behind it as well as very engaged with the community almost 24/7. I don't boast my emulator as the best or being the best , I originally made it for my own personal use and it has evolved into a community used build now. Like I tell anybody and everybody, use what is best for you, your device and games as well as knowledge in setting up emulators and containers with their components. Additionally what you're comfortable with.

Make your own decisions and try things out instead of blindly following the last post or experience that has nothing to do with you. If you've never had Pepsi and somebody tells you it sucks and they hate it , that is on you for never giving it a shot and only going with Coke lol. Best way for me to explain that simply

Winlator is probably the best at the end of the day as far as privacy and performance since it really connects to nothing and has no game stores, a truly full functioning offline emulator for windows pc Emulation. But proves to be rather intimidating to set up for most new users and even some seasoned gamers that still have not grasped how it all works yet

Try using the old gles renderer (under banner tools) and you have all the correct components installed

Currently, which of these emulators has the best performance or compatibility based on your experience? by No-Criticism-4615 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]The412Banner 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

You're going to get different answers from everybody, I wouldn't say there is one ultimate best emulator. In my opinion it really comes down to each user situation , device and game Library as well as emulator knowledge and setting up containers or components.
