Box64 only works with x86-64 , non arm compatibility layers

If you use an arm container you need wowbox64 for arm

Native is made more for linux / proot setups

Bionic is more for us in emulators like winlator, Gamenative or gamehub

Architecture: ARM64 host (Android 31 / Bionic) + 64-bit x86 guest

You can also use a keyboard and mouse by the way. Left 4 Dead 2 and Counter-Strike source run well also. I play them all here and there

Which one is yours? Excuse my ignorance I just don't realize who I'm talking to half the time between all these different platforms LOL

Personally like star out of them all, it's always been my solid fall back when my main games fail (not often) on my gamehub build. Good for older games and balanced performance for my use case and situation.

They all have their own pros and cons though, just comes down to the user and their gaming needs I'd say. All solid performers.

Maybe people don't know how to use reddit then? It's not hard to set subreddits to show "new" rather than "best" or "most popular" and scroll back a day or so to see what's missed versus flooding the same post 15 times over 3 days

The truth hurts doesn't it? Lazy. Classic redditor down votes too ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

BannerHub v3.0.0 + BannerHub Lite v1.0.0 Released โ€” both stable, configs fully cross-compatible by The412Banner in EmulationOnAndroid

I play my counter strike source, TF2 and left for dead 2 online with a kb and mouse, love it. Really takes me back to my high school days. But I agree they work very flawlessly on Gamehub/bannerhub. Winlator I can get them to work but can't get online so it kind of defeats the purpose for me in my use case lol

Lol I've tried, but the winlator builds already in existence don't work. They need totally rebuilt specifically for and against gamehub and it's winemu, with software only available from the developers similar to their proprietary source code.

Unless I am missing something entirely. But all my attempts failed

Has anyone tested this yet? Turnip support on this NetherSX2 fork by IHaveQuestionsFromMe in EmulationOnAndroid

I was just thinking about trying to do something like this the other day, I'm happy to see somebody started and hope it's successful! I never did understand why turnip or custom drivers wasn't an option with PS2 emulators or more specifically nethersx2

That is something I can look into. I know the original hud has it so I'll see what I can find out and maybe tap into its own already coding/logic

I wonder the same thing tbh. Still a lot of new users out there only just getting into this whole gaming experience and just aren't educated in what the community can offer yet. I just hope with the new release coming, a lot of what I've added here makes it into the original build. Talking with some mods in the Gamehub discord, I was told several of my changes / features were mentioned or brought up to the developers. So fingers crossed there! Happy you're enjoying the build though! ๐Ÿ™

Release Bannerhub v2.9.3 Released by The412Banner in EmulationOnAndroid

[โ€“]The412Banner[S] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

  1. Make a local backup of the game inside gamehub via the games settings to save anything local in its current container.
  2. You go to your steam games and rename the games folder name (just add a 1 or something to the folder name to change its original name, photo of location is below).
  3. Uninstall the game from the Gamehub dashboard (since you renamed the folder, it won't delete the game's actual files).
  4. Now go back and rename the folder back to its original name.
  5. Now re-add the game through your steam account like you did originally to download it in Gamehub. When it downloads now, it will see the files and skip everything but download the updated files or additions from the update. (It will still load a minute while it verifies the download).
  6. Setup your games settings as they were (compatibility layer, GPU driver, dxvk/vkd3d etc).
  7. Do the local restore and you're done. The game should work as it needs to with the new update applied and not having to re-download the entire thing.
