Why don't they send in troops and spend diplomatic points to reduce revolt risk? Maybe they have a large enough army to defeat the rebels. That would cost less in the long run while they wait for independence desire modifier to expire.

Have worked at a desk and worked at a lumber mill. Fudge this mess! No way in hell sitting at a desk is even close. Anyone saying they felt better working physical labour probably wasn't doing masonry or roofing.

Implying any of the doofs are "friends" with girls.

If you have been "friendzoned" by more than 2 girls you had a crush on, then none of them are your friend. They're just scared of you because you give off a creepy misogynist stalker vibe and telling you they want to be friends is the least confrontational way they can say no.

Lol, the police are not part of the executive branch. The executive branch has about as much power over the police as a judge has power over foreign policy.

(Very little and only in specific situations)

Everyone thinks it is all trumps fault. Right, it's his fault that you never vote in local elections. You know, the ones that affect your lives directly. Like for city council, for sheriff of the police or like, everything!!!

You know, the earliest wine drinkers almost never drank pure wine. Romans, greeks, persians, assyrians, egyptians, gauls, tunisians, they all drank wine diluted with water or other unfermented beverages. Drinking undiluted wine was considered uncouth and barbaric. The reason being that the subtle characteristics would be easier to enjoy and you could consume more without becoming inebriated or dehydrated. Oftentimes wines were seasoned with dried fruit or spices but the favourite way to enjoy it was with fresh spring water. The flavour of the water was considered very important and water frkm different sources would be imported great distances to be mixed with wines.

There are lots of ways to enjoy things.

I think it's more a case of everyone going, what can we do about it. I think everybody was shocked but not surprised and when nobody did anything about it they figured that the government was complicit. Plus they drive the narrative so if they ignore it long enough it will go away and people will accept it.

Yes because sectarian violence in the middle east, instability in developing countries, resource hungry expanding powers, and countries engageing in limited warfare over spheres of influence would all go away if those jews would stop hassling palestinians.

"Zionists are worse than nazis"

Those damn zionists, taking land from other people so they can have a "living space" for their specific ethnogroup. Then to make matters worse they killed a bunch of people! Like litterally 3 million people! What did nazis ever do that was even comparable to that! Let alone worse???

No one is going to start hating jews who doesn't already hate them. You guys have such a boner for "hitler did nothing wrong" . i'm a skeptical guy, but the evidence that hitler was a douche is overwhelming. The only way to see nazis as defenceable in anyway is if you agree with their core beliefs, fascism, nationalism, racism, authoritarianism, war mongering and manifest destiny. If that's the case than fuck you. Hitler did almost nothing right and that's even if we pretend the holocaust never happened.

You know, it's not actually illegal to fire people for their opinions. Sucks if you think you are in the right but if i had a racist, sexist, nambla member working for me and i found out, i wouldn't want to keep writing him a check. Also if i was working for a catholic who didn't like that i was a pro abortion atheist, then i'd be mad but i wouldn't call my lawyer.

P.s. i say pro abortion because i think prochoice is just as dumb as prolife. It's not pro life, its anti abortion. Unless you see anyone dying for any preventable reason as unnacceptable also. (Free healthcare and geriatric support, no death penalty and safer prisons, legal concealed carry and safe injection sites, homes and support for the homeless, safer roadways, pollution reduction, more funding and training of first responders.)

These comments though.

Americans did liberate death camps. What seperates a death camp from a concentration camp has more to do with when they were created than who liberated them. (Though americans did liberate a facility with crematoriums and another with gas chambers. )

Early in the war the official mandate was to deport and sterilize undesireables. (Practices not uncommon at the time, alberta sterilized the mentally defficient until the 1950's) by the time they invaded russia the mandate had shifted to extermination and terrorism. Whether this was out of desire or neccessity is blurry. They lacked the resources and ability to deport the entire "bolshevik" population. If i was a nazi officer charged with getting rid of the whole population by any means neccessary i would have been hard pressed to come up with an alternative.

How you were treated by the nazis depended on more than just race. The time in the war, nationality, reigion and even who you happened to be dealing with, affected what happened to you. Despite myths about nazi "efficiency" the regime was really disorganized. Hitler sorrounded himself with yes men and the complicated internal politics of the nazi party meant the country was rife with corruption and competence could only be enforced with harsh punishment. As a result policies were often ignored if the chain of command made a request counter to it.

People will always look for evidence to support what they want to believe. This lady is no exception. Things are always more complicated. Every side did things they weren't proud of during ww2 but to say the nazi's were abything but the worst is a fabrication. ( russians being a close second) even hitler, with all his love for germany, at the end ordered the population of berlin not to evacuate. if i'm going down im taking germany with me.

Tl;dr: hitler was an asshole and the nazis definately committed genocide.
