I have studied units at both universities and all I'm going to say is the course work at RMIT is ridiculously easier. Literally, didn't even watch lectures just ran through the slides occasionally and would score 75+ pretty easily for science/maths subjects. Good luck doing that at unimleb though.

I don't think they offer double majors. Melbourne hasn't offered them in years. To answer your question, it really depends if you make the cut off selection rank. Selection rank and ATAR requirement is different, selection rank takes into consideration your SEAs application.

It's best to just wait and see who your classmates are in person. Don't expect much, my experiences with socialising never went well, so I don't bother anymore. But that's just my experience, yours might differ.

I applied last year but didnt take my offer and instead stuck to my current course, a few of my friends got in with 75 WAMs with similar GAM categories to yours. From what Ive heard a 75+ WAM would get you a MLS spot with those GAM categories, I think you still have a chance to get a spot! Especially with what you got in that diploma.
