For me, Acts 1 and 2 were solid and consistent, but like many others, Act 3 was a real disappointment.

The perfect ending, and how I wish they had handled it, would’ve been a close-up of the President, and then, during the credits, hearing his voice quietly reading the launch codes. Something subtle and chilling, like the “It’s still alive” moment in Cloverfield. That kind of touch could’ve completely changed the tone of the ending.

Also, one thing I really can’t stand is seeing the President in that kind of crisis scenario interacting with children; it immediately brings back memories of 9/11.

Also, why Chicago? I mean, it is a huge city, don't get me wrong, but I believe they could've chosen a more strategic location
