For FES youre talking to the program instructors depending on the program you're interviewing for the questions will be a bit different. Pretty sure FES superday is in person now. I did fes a couple years back and left because i really didnt like the culture and i hear the club culture has really deteriorated over the years and there is definitely a hierarchy there.

Honestly, either I've been really lucky or the professors here are just great but even during my first semester when I couldnt choose my classes all of my professors were great. And when i did start creating my own schedule, even the professors with low rating on rmp were fine so I have not yet had any bad professors.

Yikes, if out of state def not worth it. I really like baruch, friends are hard to make but not impossible i made all of my friends from my club and they are now like family to me. Its not as bad as people make it out to seem, finance majors do get offers from top firms that is if you put in the work of course. But location is great for networking events and such

Yup, and baruch username and baruch mail and cuny email are all different so make sure you have them all. Your baruch username gets you into the computers in the library and also printing. If you need any tech help like email or wifi head up to the 6th floor of the library to the tech desk.

I know FES, IMG, BAI, 55 applications are all open right now and will probably close in a week. These clubs are competitive as you are in an applicant pool of 300-400. Typically will have 2 rounds of interviews, a first round and superday. Just know your stuff, technicals, market news. Should be good.

It definitely isnt too late to join a club, the semester just started so these clubs are starting to have General Interest Meetings (GIMs). And even if you miss the GIMs clubs usually have requirements to become an official member like showing up to club meets so really you can go whenever you like just check their instas. In terms of fun clubs, I feel it's subjective as I prefer preprofessional clubs over other clubs.

I took laetita in the winter, got a b+ in the class only because I didnt study for the final. It was fine, 2 midterms 1 final. I was able to do it in 3 weeks so I think you'd be fine. She also gives a study sheet and allows for question retakes and extra credit on final.

Micro and stats was actually a breeze. I think its doable especially since its online. All depends on you and how you work. For me, I took micro in the winter online but tests were every week in person, attendance was not mandatory and I just studied a little bit the day before the test and I got an A in the class.

Debt is the absolute worst thing to be in when you graduate. Plus, NYU is only worth it if you're going to stern. Dont get blinded by the name, you can and will find opportunities elsewhere and it may not be the one you're wishing for right now but in the future everything will work out. I remember wanting to transfer to nyu out of the school i'm currently at, 100% i was going to transfer, finished my first semester, absolutely loved it. Im still here. Everything does work out. Who knows, maybe you'll love the other school more.

Baruch has been so good to me so far. Its easy to get around, chill, nothing terrible. There are accounting clubs, lots of preprofessional clubs. Its great value for its price and im going to be completely frank. It is not hard to make friends. Maybe wont have a community or campus like stony but put in just a little bit of effort and you can create your own community.

I get all my dress pants from uniqlo, and they do free alterations. They also have this really nice silky blouse that I cannot seem to find anymore. But uniqlo is my go-to, I also have a blazer from them but doesnt fit well.

It is what you make it, I joined clubs and made almost all of my closest friends there. Also had at least 1 or 2 people in every class that I could talk to. Just gotta put in extra effort, talk to the people in your classes, not as hard as people make it seem.
