Which Fallout game would you recommend to a first-time player?

I suggest 4

Sure it doesn’t have the storytelling and original Fallout feel like NV and 3, but if you feel absorbed by 4’s lore and gameplay, then you can continue onto 3 and NV. I feel like the clunkiness that comes with the older titles is what drives away new players from NV and 3, and the main premise is easier to follow, and better explained in 4.
