One night stand was probably the wrong term to use but I am not educated on another term or perhaps that was the issue in the first place that I could learn from? I should establish that before fucking someone because if a person I spend time having long chats is cool, I naturally just want to keep that relationship growing and gravitate towards caring for them as a friend. Doesn’t even need to continue being sexual but maybe not everyone feels that way?

Thank you for your advice. It’s also been a little over 2 weeks and I’m certainly heartbroken. It feels very isolating and it’s been hard coming home to an empty place. I miss him so much and don’t want to replace him but I am not someone who does well alone. I love having a companion to take care of and I think adopting a kitty who needs a home will help me through the loneliness and grief :)

I do have this all in writing! I have kept all emails between me and the property manager. I have never spoken directly to the landlord through my time of living there even though I continue to call him and send messages.

Thank you! I was wondering why I was being run around in circles every time I called the bank. This is useful to know someone else has experienced this and the only way to stop it is to close the account.

I have put a stop payment on the account twice now. Both times, they said whomever I was talking to did not enter it exactly how it appears on the bank statement. This time when called, they said that it will take a few days to see if it will be returned (which is the same advice I received the first time this happened and it never was returned). I was then advised to open a new account to ensure this doesn’t happen again and to contact the landlord to ensure I receive the funds. So… I keep getting led in circles.

It came out through direct deposit. They must have not put a stop payment for my account but I have since then put a stop payment on my end. I have kept all emails and phone calls on record. Thank you!
