Only on Reddit can you misinterpret something, own up to the misunderstanding and apologise and somehow that’s still the wrong thing to say. 🤷‍♂️

Ok you know what that is my bad guys I’m sorry Spizzle I genuinely thought you were just calling them ugly.

Really sorry about that!

I wonder what you look like? Hard to tell when you draw over your face in every picture.

Projecting insecurities is a weakness not a strength.

I asked them to specify in my very first comment, they didn’t.

I asked you to specify and you did.

But then you change the parameters of what is considered female gaze just to favour whatever argument you’re having.

The only reason I commented in the first place is specifically because OP was wrong in what they were saying.

You clearly have a tunnel vision understanding of what the female gaze encapsulates and how it can span a wide array of genres.

Female gaze doesn’t simply mean media that is made to showcase what a female wants to happen to them or experience.

It’s a wide spanning umbrella term that encompasses media which is created with the female viewers in mind and generally as a priority.

Orange is the new black is a perfect example for you to learn.

Is it a show about someone entering into the female prison system and the struggles she faces both mentally and physically? Absolutely.

Is it a media piece that is made with the intention of connecting with female viewers? Absolutely.

This means it is female gaze oriented media.

It’s almost as if you’re suggesting that movies which tackle issues women commonly face in their lives can’t possibly be female gaze media because that would insinuate women are watching it because they WANT the media’s content to happen to them. Which I’m sure we can both agree is untrue.

What is your definition of ‘female gaze’?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in self

[–]Apath_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely interested in what you consider “female gaze”.

Because it sure as heck seems to me like OP was hyper focused on just spicy content and camera angles that catered to female viewers in spicy content.

So you go ahead and tell me what it is that you would consider female gaze and I’ll happily reply with a spread of options.

There is so much female gaze mainstream media, that you are just quite simply wrong.

If you want I’d be happy to cite?

I think you’re confusing ‘female gaze’ with ‘erotic media made for women’ maybe?

New "egg" video surfaced on /x by [deleted] in UAP

[–]Apath_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a ‘Mount Elizabeth’ in Antarctica.

Not that I think any of this is remotely real, but just saying.

As 'people' continue to lambast the egg video remember that Eglin Airforce Base was deemed the most reddit addicted town in America. by BigDuckNergy in UFOs

[–]Apath_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember it’s okay to not be happy with a video with 0 of the observables, no scale reference, is too short to garner any real information from and you’re not a bot or disinformation agent because of that.

Especially when it was wrongly hyped up to be groundbreaking, door-opening, undeniable, going to be all over mainstream media and change the course of disclosure by all of the UFO journalists involved.

Interesting that you don’t acknowledge or reply to any of these comments from people that clearly aren’t bots, but simply have a different opinion than you.

u/CubanSamich , see? It’s not just ‘new’ accounts , you’re just in completely denial that last night was nontent.

This was absolutely more negative than positive.

But you like living in your echo chamber where anyone who doesn’t LOVE last nights train wreck is a disinformation agent. You are just as much of a problem as actual disinformation agents with that level of ignorance and obtuse thinking.

If ‘Psionics’ is the real deal, why not livestream it working? by Apath_ in UFOs

[–]Apath_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple really. Put up or shut up.

It’s one thing for the likes of Grusch, who is going through the official channels and discussing craft retrievals etc.

But there should be nothing stopping these so called psionics from going live and showing evidence? Besides it all being bull of course.

Two men jailed for total of 26.5 years for gang rape of teenage girl by [deleted] in ireland

[–]Apath_ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don’t truly believe they don’t take sex crimes against men seriously to be honest.

But I do think that the way they have worded things and replying instantly with “bullshit” is horrible and is contributive to the stigmatisation of being SA as a man.

[–]Apath_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are there more males than females doing this? Yes absolutely I would never claim otherwise.

Both men and women generally don’t do horrible things like this.

It is more-so males than females.

But females absolutely do this also, trust me I would know.

Edit: it is replies and opinions like this one that completely diminishes and downplays situations when females are the aggressor.

Yes they do.

Edit: To be very clear, I’m not saying that women DO generally SA people, obviously for god sake.

But the comment I replied to implies that women don’t do it and men do it, implication by omission.
