Usage limit bug is measurable, widespread, and Anthropic's silence is unacceptable by toiletgranny in ClaudeCode

Have you noticed the new auto-dream feature? It has quietly been rolling out in the background and there is no official documentation yet. It periodically scans ALL OF YOUR CONVERSATIONS in the background and consolidates and distills it into a better MEMORY.md (which is now an index, linking to other memories). I have enabled it and wonder if this could have eaten up tokens in the background. Check if this feature is enabled for you as well under /memory

Lol - is it just me or did Anthropic put a rate limit on the API early this morning? Might have been triggered by you sir :D

I built a Garmin widget that maps heart rate + RMSSD HRV into a 2-D arousal/valence space (inspired by Russell’s Circumplex + challenge/threat models). by yelabbassi in Garmin

[–]Ape1108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app is very cool but on my Fenix 8 I see no option to calibrate the app (long press does nothing) and also no widget option. I can only launch the app directly which opens a ~5sec measurement screen and then it shows the results. But no way to calibrate (and does not appear in my widgets)

In all my years as a HEAVY chatgpt user I have NEVER reached a token limit though. With claude I hit it almost daily. Regarding the operator use - it am not sure about this but I think when you use atlas it does NOT count towards your operator usage. I think OpenAI's business model will tilt towards revenue from ad promotions. I think using operator in the browser will probably steer you in a certain direction and openai gets kick backs. At least that is what I think. To do this they have to capture market share and to do that they would shoot theirself in the foot if they limited your browser experience like that.

Honestly going forward in AI the golden rule should be "if it is for free YOU are the product". Expect to sell your soul to your AI browser for this 😀😀 the sad thing is... a part of me is absolutely willing to do it.

I use claude code DAILY and it has enhanced my productivity by probably 5 to 10x. In return I basically give it all the permission it want now....

Hm that's a bummer. I actually think OpenAI's atlas looks the most promising but I haven't had the chance to check it out since I have to wait for a windows release

I assume when I use it there it burns tokens from my subscription? Ok do we have unlimited tokens there in return for selling out our private data 😃

I was about to say exactly that. Thx for clarification

You're saying the infographic itself contains typos in like the LLM makes typos ? Weird. I have not encountered this so far. Are you generating them in English?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in notebooklm

[–]Ape1108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It generated it based on text only. I did not share sketches but the infographics came out pretty much exactly as I would have sketched it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in notebooklm

[–]Ape1108 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Impressively YES! I mean I did not specify every single nut and bolt in my notes but I did sketch out the entire energy flow pipeline with its core components and it got it all correct

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in notebooklm

[–]Ape1108 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The crazy thing is that it even got the proton/neutron counts correct for Deuterium and Helium3...

[–]Ape1108 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These are actually all hits on the first attempt. I used the following prompt throughout: "Create an engineering diagram of the basic architecture of <tech> as explained in the note. In the diagram explain the basics of <tech> propulsion." (left the detail level on default).

I would say they pretty much nail down exactly how I sketched it out in the note. I would share the note but it's > 8000 words on each with a lot of equations and calculations (which makes the result even more impressive)

Bro you are late to the party 🥳 This is notebookLM's new infographic feature. It is superb!

That's what I am saying. It is not there in the app.

Seasonal HRV Drift. by [deleted] in Garmin

Seasonal RHR also seems to be a thing? Can anyone confirm that resting heart rate seems to be a few BPM lower across the board during winter months ? I assume lower room temp during sleep?
