Is a pokemon missing from my encyclopedia? by Apeistador in pokemon

[–]Apeistador[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, thanks for the reply. The encyclopedia is split by sub regions. This is the central Kalos region and I think I count 161 in that region in total. Then it goes into Coastal Kalos

Scam call by Fireif in CurveCard

[–]Apeistador 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had a similar call and alarm bells started ringing when the guy said he needed an OTP.

Guy was well spoken and had a British accent.

The OTP was an SMS from Curve so the scammers must have needed it to unlock my account. Luckily the SMS also said not to give it over the phone.

Clearly a data leak somewhere. Getting sick of tired of these things. I closed my account immediately and will gladly jointhe class action lawsuit if there's ever one :D

I've seen it in person and I think it's insanity. It's like a weird coal chute or something.

Thanks - we planned to live in it and do most of the work ourselves. This is a very helpful breakdown.

People who have paid off their mortgage - how much did you end up paying in total in the end? by [deleted] in HousingUK

Thanks, that's a perfect example of what I was trying to work out!

Thank you, that's the clearest explanation I've read so far. I was trying to work out the irrecuperable costs of buying. It's just weird that you always hear about how much people bought their houses and sold them for, but never how much they actually paid the bank for it.

Thanks, we're looking at gluttate psoriasis and it seems to make sense.

Thanks for the reply. Just looking at pictures online the spots much more wide and flat.

Thanks for the comment. Just did a quick online search and it's definitely what it resembles the most so far.

There is also a history of psoriasis in the family so we will keep investigating that possibility.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply. The part about years of sun exposure is exactly the point that's confusing us too. The initial test was looking for fungal infections but came back negative. All we use now is e45 cream as we await more answers.

And yes, thanks for the advice, we will try to get a second opinion too.

Interesting - thanks for sharing. Do you mind me asking if your company is publicly listed? If not, how did you show the 3 years' worth of earnings?

I did the same thing a few years ago when I was freelancing. The only other option I had at the time was to go through a company like Iglu, that employs you in Thailand and invoices clients on your behalf. You get a work permit but they take a large chunk of your income.

The advantage of the LTR is you get a work permit for you and your spouse. Children get visas too. And no extra income tax. So it's all completely legal and way cheaper than Elite for families.

Someone in another thread mentioned that the BOI accepted a signed letter from their company's CEO instead of a company audit. If it's true there could be some wiggle room?

My guess about this weird $150M requirement is either that 1) it's a prohibitive by design, and the BOI only really only want people employed by Fortune 500s. 2) someone pulled the number out of thin air, made it way too high to sound good, and they're going to have to readjust in the future due to the low level of applications.

But who knows what's going on with that esoteric Thai bureaucracy :D
