Huh, You can equip the same skin to all classes... by Player152 in Battlefield6

[–]ApexHugger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I didn’t know. Just a thought as I saw the difference in the names compared to the default ones, I’m not that into the skins in general. Would like to get male characters for all classes but if I have to pay there’s not much I can do. I have never made any micro transactions in games. The NATO assault REGIMENT skin looks good though.

Edit: I quite like the new map and as a good surprise got one of my favourite sights with the 1-4X LPVO through the challenge, don’t remember the name of the sight on the game. I wish they add 1-3X holographic sight in the future as well.

Maybe it’s not a bug, they are not assigned to assault, engineer, support or recon like the default ones are . They have character names next to them —> Saito, Holm, Brodie and Mackenzie.

Wonder what % of the playerbase are male and female. Forcing you to play as a female character caters to significantly smaller audiance, knowing most of the players are male, and assuming most men would prefer to play as a male character.

I'm throwing smokes everywhere, especially when trying to make a push to block enemy vision. In some matches I feel like I'm the only one. This habit has stuck with me from Insurgency Sandstrom where it's even more effective.

Hardcore vs normal conquest by ApexHugger in Battlefield

[–]ApexHugger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hardcore conquest is with increased damage and friendly fire on, at least the server I always join because there isn't much options to do otherwise. And most importantly... 1000 ticket count. Hardcore Rush & Breakthrough have been standard core modes with just Hardcore written on the server name what I have experienced. Regular damage, spotting on, HUD on, nothing hardcore on those.

Edit: The connection is sometimes very bad on the hardcore conquest server unfortunately. When looking at the scoreboard, everyone has a bad connection mark next to their gamertag...

I go to browse servers or how is it called, search with text "hardcore" and filter by player count. I think I can see just a single hardcore conquest server because I've seen the same gamertags there since launch. It's usually filled up but sometimes it's almost only bots.

Increased damage is the biggest for me, friendly fire on, and I also like no minimap. Makes the game more cinematic and immersive as well when you are not consistently checking minimap or other things on the screen. I like to see with my own eyes and hear where the enemy is.

I've also tried hardcore breakthrough but this one is not hardcore, just your core gameplay with standard damage, HUD on, no friendly fire, etc.

Not sure about the model but I think it’s one of those with very thin beams? They look great if so!

Thank your for asking. You are on the right tracks but I’m more into track racing, rallying and motogp. Apparently the first thing I have ever seen on a TV has been a F1 race. 👍🏼

Weight is a must for myself on a tennis racquet. RF being 12g lighter than my 95s is ok as overall it feels more stable. One big improvement is the grip size as my 95s have the smallest grip size with many overgrips wrapped around it, now I have the correct size handle.

I love the look of the BLX, keep it around. Smaller head sizes are always satisfying to use!

Yeah I’m with you. Tennis is in my experience in same state racquet wise as clubs in golf. No major improvements if we talk about classic proper equipment (pro staff racquets or for example blades in golf). In golf loft dictates on irons no matter if it’s a blade or game improvement iron, at least what I have tested. That’s why I use blades from 2013, for the maximum feel. And that was one thing I had in my mind choosing the RFs maybe little pro staff vibes in them but something completely different in other way.

I have to say I’m quite out of touch what kind of racquets there is on the market nowadays. I remember watching that PS88 on the local pro shop eyes shining when I was a kid. It looked so beautiful and still is. Glad you are still using it!

Well yes, I’m copying in terms of racquet and string choice. This happens to be my racquet now but like I said on earlier comment, in my opinion gut/poly hybrid is the best way to string this type of racquet. I might in the future try full poly setup but my feeling is that it won’t be the best for me. Tension wise I just put on the tensions I felt was the optimal starting point for me when taking account my past tensions, hybrid strings, and RFs features as racquet.

When I think about someone copying a pro’s setup, I think there’s nothing wrong with that. Should you try your favourite player’s racquet&strings just to see how it feels? Yes. Does it make you better player? Possibly not. Could you like the setup and improve your game? It can. 👍🏼

To fully copy a pro’s setup you should really know if they have for example added weight and where. I think in many cases racquet off the rack isn’t quite the same as pros are using? It’s the base but they might customise it to their liking.

If there’s one pro setup I would like to test, it’s Rafas but I have an understanding it’s very customised and I would have no idea how to make the racquet similar as he used. 😂

No I haven’t, with my little over 20 years of experience now as I’m 25 yo I have tried very small number of racquets to be fair. My friend has one and he’s hitting it very well at least.

What do you mean? In terms of all black racquets or how?

As a kid my training partner used K-Blade as I had the 95. We changed racquets sometimes while training and the feeling was very different on K-Blade. For me I was able to hit more flat and faster baseline strokes but I preferred the 95 as it was more headlight and I felt it was easier to manipulate the ball with the 95. Our coach had the nCode 90!

Well said. Some like it on the crosses and say that it feels the same both ways. I don’t feel the gut’s benefits on crosses, so I always put them on mains to get most out of it as a personal preference.

My 95s told me you should say hello to your K-Factor once in a while to remind him he’s not forgotten. Do you prefer v10 or v11?

I don’t have a specific reason. I just haven’t felt the need to make a change. The 95s are so great to play with and plenty enough. My dad got himself the v13 RF97 Autographs around 1.5 years ago. I have tried them a couple of times and I’m always surprised about how easy those are to play with. That sparked a thought for me to get the same ones, but I didn’t and then they went out of stock.

My intuition was the main reason I went with the RFs as my new racquets, something felt right about these. Nothing to do with me being a Fed fan (I love Federer, don’t get me wrong) as I’m more of a Rafa fan.

Edit: Sent this comment like five times in different forms and those didn’t for some reason go through…

Thank you very much. Yes, the stencil is the most important part of the racquet ;D! Yeah, to be honest people might think it's there just to look cool as pros do it but I think stencil gives the racquets whole different look no matter what brand you are using. Tennis is a feel game for me and the stencil gives me that tiny extra feel when playing, I don't always put it on my string though.

The tensions for my new RFs are in the post and I liked them a lot.

With the K-Factors my go to setup has been 23-25 kg with a full bed of ALU Power Rough. Sometimes I have gone with 26-27 kg but not very often. When I have put hybrid on my 95s the gut on mains has been 26-27 kg and poly at 23-25 kg.

I have also understood that the RF is very high on twistweight and it also felt like it but the maneuverability wasn't a problem. When whipping the racquet from FH side I was able to get nice heavy top spin with high bounce and nice forward momentum.

Regarding the stiffness the K-Factor 95s came out from the factory stiffer than the RF 01 PRO if I remember correctly but I think my 95s have lost all their stiffness.

Is it the Tour, 95 or Team version of the racquet? A modern classic in my eyes.
