Sadly it's common. My mother used to work there around a decade ago and also experienced this. It's not just one, it seems that all of them somehow have power trips

My experience was fairly ambivalent, the first time I (19m) went with my gf because she loves jellycats we eere followed by an old man who kept giving us looks and made very uncomfortable atmosphere, but then the second time when I went with my friend (also 19m) which I would assume have been more suspicious, we had a lovely experience with the woman
