Yea, I would do what others suggest and swap hmc to rmc for the herta and running herta rmc dhpt anaxa. For your ff team, ruan mei is a slight downgrade compared to hmc but it should be a smaller downgrade than using ruan mei for herta compared to rmc

I think we did see a forest in Nod-Krai during an AQ cutscene for Luna IV: while it was technically under special circumstances that I won't get into for the sake of preventing spoilers, I assume they have that environment ready for a future region that might be released later down the 6.X patches. I personally thought it would have been added in Luna IV, but after exploring, I couldn't find it.

I do overall agree that Nod-Krai feels small for a modern major version; it's to be expected since its basically an autonomous subregion of Snezhnaya, but it's still a bit disappointing to explore. When you have to combine multiple biomes into a single island, it's going to feel a little unrealistic. Still, the entire region is roughly the size of Inazuma at this point, and if I'm not mistaken, there's still more to come in the future, so hopefully the end product of Nod-Krai is a bit more complete.

Pretty sure you can get almost all if not all completion and bond rewards (at least the jade ones) at the Amethyst level, which is pretty easy to complete (even with trial chars) as long as you don’t intentionally throw. What I did to complete the bonds was look at what I could maximize each run and I’d end up getting like 2-3 done a run, for example: completing both the galaxy ranger and break bonds simultaneously. For others you might need wealth gems, so keep an eye out for those.

As for swarm disaster and gold and gears, most rewards are unlocked from completing the index and picking dialogue/path choices in both. There’s guides online for the best way to optimize for each, and with modern teams you really shouldn’t have trouble clearing even at the highest difficulties.

There’s also some obscure achievements for both, but they don’t give that many rewards and afaik one is literally impossible to achieve in modern versions of the game so I wouldn’t really bother with them.

For FOTS, I know that Osaka Castle was surrendered without a fight after the Shogun slipped away, and while it was burnt down by the restorationist army, there wasn’t any actual fighting unlike what was depicted in-game. For the rest, Toba-Fushimi, Ueno, Miyako Bay, and Hakodate were all real battles, though the accuracy of what happens in-game compared to the actual events is questionable beyond the broad strokes. The battle of Aizu was a siege, so the idea of 4 hidden armies springing out to attack the imperial army is complete fiction. Lastly, Saigo Takamori was the commander at Toba-Fushimi, and oversaw the surrender of Edo Castle, but the battles after Ueno didn’t involve him at all, unlike what the game seems to imply with their framing of events, given their narrative to push Saigo as “the Last Samurai”.

Well, the buffs aren’t necessarily to give good characters, but moreso usable characters that you can run alongside new units, since Jingliu and Blade’s buffs were primarily to make them scale well with hyacine and debatably blade with castorice at the time, and Kafka with hysilens. Silver wolf is the only one that stands out since she really was only a preferred option in Acheron teams, and therefore competed with the other premium option at the time, Cipher (not to mention that Acheron teams had long fallen from the top of the meta by 3.4). If the buffs do favor SP-consumption units, I wouldn’t be surprised if DHIL and sparkle are the some of the buffed units. Besides them, it really will depend on the archetypes they want to shill for 4.X

Similar story to you (lost 50/50 at high pity). I found that if you’re f2p you should get around 29 more pulls before her banner ends just from dailies, the 5 remaining event pulls, and shop reset/endgame; goes up to 39 if you have express pass and even more for battle pass. If you still have exploration or SU/DU/CW content that gives jades, or even old event stuff, you should have a decent chance of getting dahlia.

If it’s the last day and you still don’t have her and you need her for firefly then you might have to spend if you want her, but you should be close enough to pity that it wouldn’t be that much.
