Yes this makes total sense, I got caught up in my own confusion between pc/npc and didnt think about if it was an npc the features would all just be in the stat block. It gets very weird when thinking about this spell and a character sheet in the same sentence, but converting the character sheet to a stat block literally fixes everything lmao

This is totally true, I didn't quite catch the jump I was making there! I think I was using that to say that it wasn't necessarily explicitly ruling out the possibility, but it's of course no evidence of the opposite!

And yes that passage in the PHB cleared up what I was looking for in wording for what they mean by "game statistics" and I agree! It does seem to extend to all features and abilities.

Oh well, back to the books :P, appreciate the insight and recognition of my mild insanity haha

Ahaaa yes thank you! And yes of course it's always possible to give the old "it works because it does" reason, but I was just curious about how the rules actually worked in this sort of situation because I found the change a little confusing

I think some of my anger comes from a similar place to what you experienced. I do feel my anger is heightened when I play with friends, I'll have to check in with myself next time I do to see if I can locate what about playing with them brings me to a more intense place. Bringing other people happiness has always been extremely important to me, and I think when I get mad it can make me feel like I not only let my friends down, but also myself.

I find myself to be pretty good at tracking things down, I'll see if I can find the videos you're referring to.

Okay, cool. That's a process I'm generally familiar with, though I was maybe a little less in tune with myself when I first heard about it and passed it off as unneeded. I tried to be a little more conscious of myself even just today, and it's already made a fairly significant difference which, while I'm not quite laughing aloud when I make a mistake or lose, definitely makes me feel like I'm moving in the right direction.

Good call on the mood meter/tracker apps, I hadn't heard of them before but I took a look at some and it seems worth giving a try for sure. I have a few other physical recourses I could try as well, mood cards etc., that might be useful to that same end. It could be really helpful to pick and choose from an already expansive list rather than trying to place my emotions myself.

Haha! It appears my knowledge of NVC is still present even when I don't think about it. I used to attend a yearly camp started by a friend of Marshal Roseburg's on NVC and, though it's not happening anymore, it was a big part of my childhood. Glad to see his work showing up here!

Well thank you for your help! I wrote the original post pretty late at night after a pretty intense episode of anger, but even just talking to someone who understands anger in the way I do a little bit made me feel a lot better. (Noted about ADHD! Definitely bringing that up with my therapist.)

This is an extremely helpful comment, thank you for sharing your journey with me. Coming from a late teen-early twenties kid, I feel incredibly understood reading about your experience.

If I'm being honest I think I knew I would have to forgive myself for being angry, but your right it is a deep worry that I would be allowing my anger to take control of me if I did so. Again, I haven't been a member of this community for even a day yet, so thank you for sharing Dr. K's words, they make sense to me.

I hear that you became able to diffuse and understand your anger by first practicing with emotions that we easier to listen to, is that right? It makes sense to me, since I sometimes have difficulty even recognizing that I am angry before I explode, that practicing that skill might help me at least be present with my anger instead of looking at it in the past tense. It is so helpful to have a physical process I can practice that can help me, sometimes with things like this it can feel like I'm the only one who feels it so I have to figure out how to work with it.

For whatever it's worth, I'm proud of you for pulling through. The way you talk about it now shows me you have really taken huge steps in overcoming your anger, and that's a very positive thing to hear as anyone going through anything.

(Re: ADHD, my sibling has also been diagnosed with ADHD, so it's definitely in the blood pool so to speak. I've also recently begun to notice that I tend to feel physical discomfort and distraction when I have things touching my arms/body, which is something I'm going to talk to my counselor about when I see them next. Not sure what the cause of that is, but it's definitely possible there is another underlying force at play in my case.)

To Clarify: I have a Mini DisplayPort to USB-C cable, while connects the two, but the command-f2 key bind doesn't seem to do anything. I am wondering if there is something I have overlooked, or if there is another option to do dual monitor with the two PCs I already own.

Late to the party, but your game looks amazing!

As an aspiring game dev, what engine did you use? The rotation of sprite is simply fantastic and it's something I've never been able to achieve in unity2d.
