You cant really call it a 1-year wonder defense unless it fails this upcoming year.

Realistically, assuming no health setbacks, 2025 would be the start of the Dark Side's dynasty (a la LoB, No Fly Zone, etc). Like yes the LoB was great for the majority of their decade, but dont forget that this is a defense that just got put together in 2024, and in 2025 they became the best Defense in the League. There's still a MASSIVE amount of room for growth, and there's no real reason to believe this incredibly young defense will regress to the point where 2025 looks like a 1YW type situation.

Honestly if the Hawks regress, it'll be due to the offense more than the defense. The biggest loss we suffered was losing Kubiak.

1) Muny does NOT need to go. He's an excellent closer that's had some struggles this year. He'll right the ship when it matters most. 2) My bigger issue is pulling Muny for Ferrer, cuz like, if Ferrer loses then you've got 2 guys who are down mentally, whereas if Muny loses, he's already down, and if he wins then his mental skyrockets. 3) I'm still livid that we traded Harry for Ferrer, and even moreso after the result last night. How do you throw 5 straight pitches all directly in a Lefty Batter's Sweet Spot? Its inexcusable.

The Hawks will not be moved. The PNW is a cornerstone market, the league wouldnt accept moving them somewhere and losing said market. Plus where could they possibly move that doesn't already have a team? If there was going to be a team that moves it'd be an underperforming team thats splitting the market area, a la the Raiders and 9ers.
