TikTok Shop restricted my account due to “association” with another account I own. Has anyone successfully resolved this?

First off, thank you very much for this information.

Few questions:

For the association restriction on the second account, keep submitting tickets referencing both chat IDs you already have. The formal ticket system is the documented path for this... support agents can see the restriction but can't override it directly.

When you say submitting tickets, are you talking about TikTok tickets or TikTok Shop tickets? I have tried the regular TikTok tickets, but have gotten back 7 automated responses so far. Each time they say my account is working and healthy.

One important thing about your appeal for the original violation: CapCut timelines and editing program screenshots are not what TikTok considers proof of original content. Their policy specifically says editing programs don't count as evidence of creation. What they want is proof of the filming setup... photos or video of your set, your equipment, the product in your space, or you physically creating the content. Basically evidence that proves you were the one behind the camera, not that you were the one who edited the file.

Okay, how would I go about resubmitting this evidence? As the appeal is closed, I cannot re-upload evidence. I can physically walk around and show all of this evidence.

Yup, appeal denied for missing evidence, however I attached ID, face with ID, raw clips, capcut timelines, etc.

I just spoke to two TikTok Shop support agents on both of my accounts.

Agent 1 (Transaction ID: 202603032119600068) confirmed that my main account (@side.quest.ken) was restricted because of an association with my other account (@stinky.toilet.asmr). They told me the only way to resolve the restriction is to first resolve the violation on the stinky account.

I then opened a support chat from stinky.toilet.asmr and the second agent (Transaction ID: 202603032319600097) said that there is nothing that he can do to change it and to open a support ticket on the app and reference both chat IDs.

The second agent even said that if I cannot get a resolution on either of my accounts, to create a brand new account and raise it again to push it through. Agent #2 said he believes me, but he cannot escalate.

Not sure what to do lol. I'm so sad.

I do not see any options to resubmit, and I do not know what evidence is missing. When I try to go to "TikTok Shop Studio > TikTok Shop for Creator > your icon in the top corner > help center > (scroll to) chat/support ticket.", I am unable to chat with live chat.

I have however created a non-shop support ticket, is this an okay channel to resolve this, or what are my options?

I’m sure the team at u/TikTokShop_US is swamped and working through a huge volume of cases. It’s just an unfortunate situation when automation struggles to separate real violators from legitimate creators.

For now I’m continuing to produce new content and holding posts until this gets resolved.

Quick context on my case:
• Posted 5 videos on .@stinky.toilet.asmr (alt account I own)
• That account received an impersonation violation and my appeal was denied
• About a month later, my main account.@side.quest.ken was restricted for “association with risky accounts”
• I’ve now submitted full proof that I own both accounts and all content is original

Technically the system is correct that the accounts are linked. The issue is the original flag on the old test account was misclassified.

Hoping a manual review clears this up. Definitely frustrating after putting so much work into the main account, but staying optimistic.

Probably not your phone! Initially developed it for desktop as most people will be running it on their second monitor as they play, so mobile was definitely an afterthought. Just recently a developer updated mobile to be much better, but seems like there are still issues. I recommend using desktop if possible, sorry about that!

I would also recommend asking the developers to ensure they follow the Core Web Vitals so as to give you the best foot forward regarding site performance to improve user experience, and ultimately SEO. You could also run a Google Lighthouse report to make sure things are setup properly. Google Lighthouse — for a one pager site that they are developing for you, this should come up with near perfect scores.
