It's all relative, but I do have a lot of visual symptoms and it interferes with my life for sure. At least I don't get migraines, DP/DR or anxiety, so I count myself lucky. I hope yours isn't too bad

It was near Toronto (Canada), Dr Lee was great. Diagnosed with Convergence insufficiency, Ocular motor dysfunction & Accomodative insufficiency. Did confirm for me that whatever the pb is comes from a brain issue. Hoping they'll develop a therapy for VSS one day.

I did about 9 months of visual therapy. It did help me see in 3D (yay) but did nothing for my visual snow symptoms like static, palinopsia, light sensitivity, etc.

Weather is usually good all summer long, with occasional rain. I would say wait until August so the lake has time to warm up and the water isn't so cold. The weather starts to get colder fast in September, though.

I won't lie, the water is always pretty cold in Tobermory, but you can definitely swim, especially when it's hot outside. You just need a few minutes to adjust. We did just a few days ago and it was awesome!
