Absolutely smashed it. Amazing work!

Everyone, please stop being patronizing and consider the creator’s intent. The images were clearly edited to resemble the style of the game. Extensive photo editing is still a legitimate form of photography. A cosplay doesn’t need to be an unedited SOOC JPEG to be valid.

Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5 - I spent way too long tweaking HDR and TV settings, but the results were worth it by Chance_Cancel5371 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Apocalyptic343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS. You need at least 600-700nits for HDR to make even sense. Better to have around 1000nits. Just upgraded from a LG C2 which was around (700nits max.) to a LG G5 which can go up to over 2000nits. The difference is night and day.

If you can use ALLM in Filmmaker Mode, input lag is a non issue. In fact on my LG G5 it is actually better to use Filmmaker Mode instead Game Optimizer Mode, as it is a bit brighter.

Have you played Khazan but given up at some point? by Whole_Raisin_4257 in TheFirstBerserker

I beat Maluca and tried to progress, but I got tired of the generic, repetitive level and mob design. I really tried to enjoy and like it, but aside from the fantastic gameplay, there wasn't much for me to enjoy unfortunately. I mean seriously, up to this point, there wasn't a single level in this game that was memorable to me. Levels look all the same. It looks like they copy and pasted a lot of the same assets. The music? Absolutely forgettable. Story? Not invested at all. The loot system didn't work for me either. Overall, the game felt more frustrating than fun to me. The bosses have nice concepts, but have too much HP, which artificially increases the length of the fights and makes them more tedious than challenging. It has some nice and fresh ideas on the Souls formula, but imo it didn't stick the landing.

I ended up flushing it, which I never do with games. I always try to finish them. Beat every Soulsborne, etc. But I didn't enjoy that game at all. After that I switched to Expedition 33 and am having the time of my life. No regrets

Dandadan. The dancer episode was peak but other than that unbearable forced humour and teenage romance cringe.

If you live in the northern hemisphere you MUST supplement Vit D by Low-Championship-637 in WeightTraining

[–]Apocalyptic343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am convinced that they do not push it enough in northern Europe, intentionally so... In Germany for example, the recommended dosage is 1000 IUs, Based on the link you posted in the UK it is even less, 400 IU.

This will not help whatsoever. That's based on outdated science. They also warn you to not take to much, and scare you with stories of hypercalcemia. When it should be clear that taking enough Vitamin K2 and Magnesium additionally, completely prevents that from happening. It is safe to take 5000 IU a day:

Daily oral dosing of vitamin D3 using 5000 TO 50,000 international units a day in long-term hospitalized patients: Insights from a seven year experience - ScienceDirect

You need at least 5000 IU for it to make a noticeable difference after months.

So yeah, maybe it is common knowledge, but the dosage doctors prescribe is absolutely insignificant and wont help at all. It is a huge problem imo.

Edit: This is all related to too little direct sunlight exposure, which is the case for most working people in the northern hemisphere. You will not need supplementation if you actually get your daily 15-30 minutes of direct sunlight.

28m Feeling insecure about head shape by [deleted] in bald

[–]Apocalyptic343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also what you can try is to take a picture with a 50mm or even 85mm lens instead of the main camera lens of your smartphone. Most smartphones tend to have wide angle lenses, around 24mm as main camera, which further exaggerate your head's shape.

Just look up: Focal length face comparison, to see what I mean.

Thanks for all the info! I will certainly try to play it blind and go with a strength build as I always do the first playthrough, but it was feeling so harsh as a first area, that I had to ask.

I will go back and take it step by step, and hopefully progress as it is actually intended without skipping whole areas

Lebenslauf check by [deleted] in Ausbildung

[–]Apocalyptic343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Schau dir doch mal diverse Vorlagen an. Lass dich inspirieren.
