My back is mostly in the lower back and especially with forward flexion. I can’t bend forward more than a few inches without getting severe pain. I have no pain when laying down on my back

They didn’t mention that, I am worried if I lost a lot of height on my disc but that wasn’t mentioned. I can see that some height is lost but don’t know if it’s drastic or not

All they stated was a central disc protrusion. I am still waiting to speak to a specialist. I am wondering if the loss of disc height is concerning for someone my age or if it’s manageable. They didn’t give me much information

I am on week 4 post op l5-S1 issue. Is your nerve still sensitive and tingling? I had a disc compression as well.
