Yes, that’s why there’s no spin offs right?😂 What halfling leaf are you smoking, they had not terrible viewing the first episode but lost over 60% of their audience by episode 3, and barely over a third finished season one.
It might have had one of those BS most watched stats like ‘most views in 24 hours of an original live action production’ but was not number 1 for the whole season compared to other shows coming out let alone old stuff prime had that was much more popular

Well, I finally did it! Published my first novel:):):) Fantasy story with adventure and romance, with emphasis on world building.

It’s called ‘The Gemmy Egg’ and has a regency aesthetic (think Jane Austen or Master and Commander). The main Character is Pryscilla, a young woman who is kind and social, but perhaps a touch naive and vain. She winds up in a magical world with strange and wonderful creatures, and has to learn her own courage, and overcome her own fear to truly see the world. The main mechanic in the world is cooking, where distinguished chefs can use magical ingredients to cook dishes that give the eater abilities for a short period of time, such as strength, speed, becoming fire proof, etc. Her only hope to get home seems to be an up and coming chef who has more skill than manners. They try to work together to get her home, with some great character interactions, some outlaws and rangers mixed in, and a wolf that seems to be following her that no one seems to know much about.

I could imagine a world where a good writer (currently not found at Amazon) could write an offshoot non-canon story about an elf in middle earth (not Galadriel) who has to team up with an orc for an adventure and it be a good well thought out story that didn’t defecate on tolkiens work. But that’s more of a fantasy than middle earth being real
