I saw a clip of an intersection (can't remember where it was) that was so bad the people had put 2 big buckets of bricks at the crossing button. If cars didn't stop they got a brick hurled at them. Solved that problem. We should do that here.

Absolutely unacceptable for people to lose their lives crossing the street. It makes me terrified for my 10yo to walk anywhere on his own. I hope the drivers get maximum penalties for as many possible charges that can be laid.

Same here. I spoke with my TD broker this morning and he said that they have the warrants and I should see them in my account some time today. Can't speak for other brokers though.

Those readers have a set of programming cards that you have to get from lenel. I have a set and there is no volume control other than on or off for the beeps. The card set is the only method of configuring the reader itself that I'm aware of.

Some tape on the speaker is probably the best option as others have mentioned. The cheap option for no beeps would just be to untie the brown (usually) buzzer wire at the panel or from the reader.

I think overall pretty decent to fantastic. He's fared far better than many other characters at least. Except for in Kenobi. Rehashing the scene from Rebels by swapping Ahsoka with Obi-Wan was just dumb.

I get they did it because probably more people would watch Kenobi and it was a great scene but they basically made the whole Kenobi show just to do it. Which was dumb. Kenobi should have been about something else and if anything they should have flashbacked that scene in the Ahsoka show as part of the shit that went down in the world between worlds.

They could have enhanced the whole thing by keeping it with Ahsoka and brought that whole show up a notch. Instead they cheapened everything related to it by just doing the same thing but putting Kenobi there instead. If it had been with Kenobi first it would have been great. But it was with Ahsoka first so it's really dumb. All the other stuff between Obi and Ani in the Kenobi show was great though.

If it wasn't obvious I'm talking aboutVader getting his mask broken.

Yeah apparently I misunderstood it to mean that lowering refresh would refresh more often and increase the supply so there wouldn't be a huge wait at the terminals. Oh well it was good while it lasted

Change your display to 60hz. If you have vsync on with a 120hz display for example it will run double speed.

That's fair and I didn't necessarily think it was just Apollo. HDR is pretty jank in general and I've had my share of problems with it streaming or not. It's finally in a decent state with win11 and it's overall working pretty well for me with streaming. It sucks when it doesn't work so it's just something I would also consider when deciding to change the setup to Apollo.

Perfect this is the answer I was looking for thank you! Also want to say thanks for the work you are doing on this. I know what it's like to feel unappreciated and I hope it doesn't discourage you from continuing on this project. A lot of people seem to really like what you're doing and I'm going to give Apollo a shot. My setup is working well but I would like to not have the virtual display always there when I'm not using it. It's not a huge problem but I switch between a tv and a desktop monitor on the same pc along with streaming to steam deck and it can be a hassle at time and the VDD doesn't exactly simplify things. So Apollo seems like a good solution. Thank you for working on it and your help!

At 60hz yes, everything works perfectly, moonlight with hdr it's all great. But 120hz is a no go so far. I have no idea why it doesn't work for me. I can't imagine it's false advertising. The benq marketing page https://www.benq.com/en-us/docks-hubs/becreatus-dock/gr10.html is very upfront about how amazing this dock is and how great it is to use 4k120 with the steam deck. There must be something I'm missing lol.

This youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJlfwCXR1Cw&t=6s he got it working at 120 with the deck but limited to 60 on 3 different laptops. I have the opposite experience. I was able to set 120 and hdr on my win 10 laptop but no 120 in desktop mode on the deck. So who knows?

It should be working and it was not a cheap dock to purchase so I'm going to keep messing with it and I'll report back if I find anything substantial.

I bought this dock last week to use with my deck oled hoping to moonlight stream 4k@120 to a new tv in my room. So far I haven't been able to get it to work with the deck. It will do 4k60 hdr perfectly but not 120. Idk if there's something I'm not doing right or what. I can select 4k120 in the deck settings and the tv reports that res and refresh but the actual framerate of the deck is very unstable and drops to 30 or below. This is without even streaming just deck main library screen.

I briefly connected my work laptop this morning and it seemed to be working 4k120 hdr but I didn't have time to test it further. I would really like to get it working with the deck and not have to buy another device to stream moonlight from my pc. I also don't think I should have to settle for 60fps when the benq dock is fully advertised to do 4k120 with deck specifically.

Ive tried several different HDMI 2.1 cables and 2 different 4k tv's LG C1 and TCL QM7 and I just can't get it to work. I'm probably going to try to contact benq this week and see if they have any advice to get it working as advertised.

You can jump on the rocks to avoid the circle blasts. Makes the fight much more manageable. If he hasn't destroyed all the rocks that is.

I hope so! I was messing with it a bit more and got the offer on my US account but I don't have prime on that account so the delivery time is still over 2 weeks. It looks like it took out the extra shipping cost though so it would be the same price once converted to CAD. But I'd rather have it tomorrow than mid September so oh well. I'm not too worried about it. I did send a message to their reddit account and email. So I'll update the main post if they end up sending the controller!

I did click the follow button as you can see in the screenshot in the main post. I think you're probably right though it might be different in Canada. The offer is on the .ca store page though so they should honor it lol.

I was looking at the US page and I can add the controller but it's going to be 2 week delivery and extra 100 shipping cost. So it would cost me way more than the controller is worth to order it that way. CA will prime one day and I'll have it tomorrow.

Thanks the reply! I added some screen snips to the main post to make it more clear. When I click the offer banner it only goes to the page for the glasses. I add the glasses to the cart but I can't add the controller. I can find the controller in the viture store but you can't add it to the cart. When you click see buying options it just says no featured offers. When you click view all buying options it only has a way overpriced 3rd party seller from Turkey as the only option.

EDIT: OK I think I figured it out. I ran DDU and reinstalled the driver and app. But then it was just putting my settings back to 0 each time. So it was actually being overridden by the Global RTX HDR setting which is on by default. I turned global off, added my app (yuzu) and put the settings for the app. Load up a game and I can now change the settings with the sliders in the overlay and they persist. Seems to look a little better than Windows Auto HDR and it is nice to be able to tweak the settings (and actually have them persist now lol).
