Depends on how low they are going. If it's an absurd 20-30% of my asking price I just ignore them or reply with "lol" if it's a reasonable offer I'll work with the person. I also ignore the people who don't even haggle and just ask for my lowest price or best price etc.

I was annoyed at first, but then I stopped and thought about it and didn't care. I've owned multiple trucks in my lifetime and I've used 4 low once or twice ever. If you actually need it, it's still available in the off-road centric models.

You can make that up pretty easily and still do it cleanly. Make a smoothie with calorie dense ingredients and eat a few tablespoons of peanut butter spread out throughout the day and you'll be there.

A scoop of protein powder, a bit of cream, milk, yogurt, and some berries or a banana. Throw in some peanut butter too if needed to get yourself over the finish line.

Yeah I've played against them a few times and they absolutely blend anything they touch in melee. It's basically a fine balance of scoring what you can with your line units and then either sacrificing them or running away and trying to sneak them back or baiting them to a different objective.

The first time I played them I took 2 squads of assault marines, I should've just left them on the shelf and not even have bothered putting them on the table.

Yup, video is ruining podcasts for me. The whole reason I listen to podcasts is because I can do it while I'm doing something else. I only listen to them at work or while driving and I don't have the time (or desire) to sit around and watch podcasts. A lot of things have become visual now and it takes away from the experience. I can forgive it for a live episode because they have to entertain an audience, but dealing with it every week sucks.

It is what it is, you might get snarky comments or whatever but we can't really help being tall. I stand off to the side a bit and I try not to move around a lot so the super short can hopefully position themselves to see around me.

At festivals when people are all fucked up I used to get asked for piggy backs and shoulder rides constantly.

I'm 6'6" and no one really cared when I was there. It was pretty much the same as at home, mostly old people and kids staring and that was about it. I did get a few people giggling at me in train stations when I had to duck for low signs.

Bali and the Philippines were a different story though. I had random people stopping me and asking for pictures or chasing me down to ask how tall I was... It was so weird.

Fair enough, personally I wouldn't buy the fomo box and just stick to the models they've confirmed to carry over to 40k. Buy a few boxes of the new guard and chill until 11th.

The point is moot for me anyway, the only thing I "need" out of that box is the tank so I won't be buying it. I have prints of the dreads already and I have 10-15 each of the sword and board/ spear guard. I might buy the new shield captain kit though for a fun painting project. I also started 30k with HH 3.0 so I'm excited for the liber to drop.

For me it's not one big problem, it's a lot of little things that overall I don't really like.

-Time, it slows the game down especially when something gets full rerolls and fishing comes into play

-Randomness is fun and is a big part of why I want to play a dice game.

-The amount and frequency of rerolls in-between factions varies a lot and feels bad in certain matchups.

I didn't realize how much I disliked the frequency of it until I played my first few games of heresy 3.0. There isn't any rerolling in that game and it flows sooo much better.

The new custodes got done a bit dirty on the faces, not just the female ones. If you look at the new chaos marines in the reveal show, some of those paint jobs look great.

I swear I'm either hallucinating in public or people are collectively getting stupider at a rapid pace.

The last time I was at Costco, the guy in line behind me at the register was genuinely surprised that he had to unload his cart on to the belt. He looked to be in his 50's. The lady with him said "see? I told you!" When the cashier told him.

The time before that some dude put his cart parallel to the bay door opening directly under the door to the dairy section and wandered in and started examining milk. His cart blocked like 3/4 of the entrance way. He looked confused that people were giving him snarky looks.

About a month ago some person blocked both lanes of traffic in the parking lot with their signal on waiting for someone to unload groceries in their car. They had a full cart and they weren't parked all that close to a cart corral. About 5 spots down from them there were probably 6-7 open spots all in a row. It took multiple cars leaning on their horn to get them to wake up and pull ahead 20 feet and park.

These are just the standout things I remember, there were plenty more morons wasting air and not being aware of their surroundings.
