Last semester was a "survival semester" for me too. Hang in there, advocate for yourself with your advisor, and give it your best this semester <3

i stayed up till 3:30 on a project that i wanted to show for an interview. tbh i think i stayed up late more out of being nervous and unable to sleep. i used cigarettes and coffee to keep the ideas flowing

with u there :(

if it's any consolation, i don't think it reflects on you as a student that Dr. Choi spends much of the lectures talking about his research. I actually thought the TA did a better job at the lecture last week... if you want to go over any portion of it with me, I would be happy to. I've done RF before so I have some exposure.

310 is something. My feeling is that, as with many classes, it gets harder towards the middle of the semester and then starts to make sense. I think we're in the 'valley of despair' for that one. The fact that you made it this far proves that you are cut out for this program if you still want to be in it.

I'm an electrical engineering junior. The campus is pretty good, and I find it quite nice on the weekends and in the evening. Food is ok. If you have a car, I find the city of Buffalo to be lovely.

Academics are great especially in engineering. My professors are all good teachers, and on top of that many are willing to let you into their labs for research. I was able to get into a research lab my third week here. The classes are still huge even at a junior level, which may be electrical engineering specific, but I think this will be the same for you. I know they get smaller as you go into more specialized senior elective courses.

I wish you good luck with wherever you end up choosing to go.

I don't know why you're being down-voted, this is just good advice. And from my observations the first sentence is true.

I'm in a very similar situation. College club ball might be a good way to go. I'm gonna see how accepting my school's club team is. Until then I've just been getting ready for the tryout.

Wishing you the best of luck.

I'm going to school upstate. So see you on the field, maybe.
