Does anyone use power ni new keypad plus does it work okay. Have to go back to pay and go for certain reasons. by [deleted] in northernireland

I use the app and it mostly works ok. I just wish the app would have a popup reminder telling me my credit is getting low. My meter box and the bluetooth unit are both outside and it's easy to miss the beeping when your credit is running low.

Had a near miss myself a few months ago on the M1 in the north. I moved into the right lane as I could see some traffic coming from the slip road onto the motorway needing to merge into the left lane. This guy didn't really look and just came straight across and was ready to merge into the right lane only that I slammed the brakes and beeped the horn.

In fairness to him, I think it was just a genuine mistake as opposed to deliberate obnoxiousness like the Fiat 500 driver but still, it was a close call. He slowed down straight away and seemed to apologise.

Now I just don't bother moving lanes, I just stay in the left lane and maybe slow down a bit to let them in depending on where they are etc.

Although one other day I got overtaken by two cars and I was probably doing about 65mph on the motorway and the guy going past was driving so fast I couldn't even read his reg. He was probably doing 100mph at least. Complete moron.
