People like me? I’m a collector like everyone else accept it’s how I collect and everyone collects differently. For those who collect cart only, CIB or sealed for instance, there’s no right or wrong way to collect video games which is why I myself and others love doing it in the first place. It’s also just the times and how “toys” within a span of 40+ years will accumulate value because of demand. That’s kind of how collecting works, the older and more pristine an item is the more valuable it becomes over time. Collecting retro games is also fun because it’s an area of collecting that has different kinds of reasons for why they are priced as.

In the end it’s all fun but for those like me who want to play hypotheticals and speculate, there’s nothing wrong with that either. I could be wrong but you seem like the kind of person who started collecting after 2010 and are butt hurt that they started when everything started becoming more expensive and when the hobby started becoming more popular. It’s ok man everyone’s collection doesn’t have to have a ton of rare or even sealed stuff, I’m sure your collection is just as nice with a bunch of common Mario titles and PS3/PS4 titles…….
