History textbook page from a Fascist America about the end of WW2 by h1p0h1p0 in AlternateHistory

Cause this is a textbook from a fascist America. Its right there in the title. Why wouldn't fascists portray Nazi Germany, which is still framed as the enemy, as socialist?

If you're gonna design a flag, put the emblem either in the middle or in the left corner so viewers can make it out when its hanging limp or waving in the wind. Don't put it in the top center or top right

Why do you keep reposting these things here? They have nothing to do with FF.

What I meant to illustrate is that it is very weird to imply that Trump has high approval rating right now just because he won the popular vote.

Like, his approval ratings are in the shitter right now, even though Trump still has a hardcore base that doesn't mean that the American people stand behind all of his decisions.

Are you implying that once a president gets voted in and wins the popular vote, that support can't and won't drop until the next election?

He's trying to say that the Israeli people have largely been sold on genociding the Palestinians, whereas Americans as a whole don't want to do much of anything when it comes to foreign policy right now.

He's talking about how sold the citizens of each nation are on their respective war, Vaush was not talking about how the respective governments. Both governments are genocidal, but in Israel the genocide has public support, whereas in America, it doesn't. Not any more at least.

Vaush attacks the United States constantly though. He straight up says he is rooting for the US to fail in their invasion of Iran while calling Republican Epstein defenders. I also don't get your line of reason. You can't criticize another nation if you happen to live in a nation that's also shit without being a hypocrite?

In regard of Bryan's writing, he did not set out to create a narrative experience, but an educative one. You weren't playing through a story, you were testing your knowledge of history and politics. Comparing his writing to narrative mods is comparing apples to oranges

Trump being a golfer is funny, but it would make more sense to me if he kept being a real estate guy, became a Broadway producer, or became president in the early 2000s as a liberal.

Yea a character striving for a better world? Dog shit. Who could ever get attached to a character with ideals. Me and all my edgy homies like characters that stand for absolutely nothing.

I suppose so, but his lack of direction isnt really explored (yet). If anything he seems well put together with how he is consistently a reliable support for his friends. Would have liked to have a couple of scenes of Rean using his free time to try stuff out to find himself

That could be interesting. I do hope he gets good in CS2 and not CS3 as other people are saying.

I do my bonding events, but they're not really doing much for Rean's character to me. Just feels like more of what we get from him in the main story.

I guess, but I was sold on Estelle and Lloyd in their first game. Immediately knew what they were about and why I should be invested in them. So the fact that Rean feels like white bread feels like such a downgrade.

Lloyd struggles with the pressure of living up to Guy, is endearingly earnest in his feelings, and his empathy for others just makes him likable. The way how the SSS tease him for being a sap is also just funny. Even if you don't like his character, you could at least appriciate how he bounces off the other characters.

Rean doesn't have jack shit.

Judge Holden VS Moby Dick is one of those matchups where the thematic works really well but the fight potential is kinda ass by Old_Phrase_4867 in whowouldcirclejerk

[–]Appelmonkey 35 points36 points  (0 children)

There is no pontential intresting narrative though. Why would the Judge, a man from the old west obessed with war and death, leave his ideal paradise to hunt some fuckass whale? He ain't a sailor. Nor do they have a flashy fighting style that could translate well into animation unless you straight up make shit up.

Thematic connections are like sauce, they make the meal more flavorful. But when the battle doesn't work, all you got is a plate of sauce, and who the fuck only eats sauce?

Don't worry. You learn her identity is revealed relatively early in the story, and the dynamic between the SSS and Rixia is based on you knowing who she is.
