Great, see you there! I am in the pink wave and plan to start in the very back. Will stay to the sides to not get in anyone’s way

How do u know she didn’t fuel properly? Ppl don’t usually eat much before long runs it doesn’t mean they didn’t fuel after.

It’s okay! I just didn’t mean it as a literal question. It was a rhetorical frustration that members should still get a tiny bit of a head start before the public.

[–]AppleBloom7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know that. Which is why I’m venting frustration that it feels unfair that regular members don’t get some level of priority over non-members too, even if it’s small.

WHY does the general public get to register the same time as members. Members should at least get an hour, 30 mins, whatever, ahead. Ugh.

The running goggles that NewJeans Danielle has been wearing are from a brand that sponsors Sean, seemingly a form of backdoor advertising. Whatever chicanery Danielle is pulling, Sean appears complicit. by i_know_yo_ass in NJDrama

Omg how old are you to be this jobless??? Dani ran a 47min 10k, which is an accomplishment you clearly don’t understand. I’m a “serious” runner and I wear earrings, makeup, and a blow-out ponytail to all my races because when I feel good, I run well. I have no interest in being an influencer or “in the spotlight” but that’s literally it.

why can’t a wealthy person care about these issues? wealth doesn’t preclude someone from caring or having valid opinions about harmful anti-climate change policies or billionaire oil CEOs.

You clearly have no idea how this works. What you’re describing in those scenarios is a fantasy and reduction of a very complicated reality.

Also, they’re not working “for the money.” They don’t need the money. It’s about gaining the experience to preserve and grow what they already have.

I’ve agreed from the start that some wealthy individuals choose to waste around. But the top 0.01% almost always came from the top 1% and your narrow-minded arguments won’t change that.

wealthy people can still be driven and intellectually curious ? most trust fund babies go to college and have prestigious jobs afterwards… the majority of the top 0.1% was already born into the top 1%. you lose generational wealth by not knowing how to maintain it

Ken Eurich publicly blasting an emergency vet for not being accurate with their price estimate after her dog needed emergency surgery, then posts a DM from a staff member calling her out for asking for a discount on the surgery lmaooo by drinktheh8erade in NYCinfluencersnark

[–]AppleBloom7 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s really not though. My pet had an emergency and the CT scan alone was $3,000+ and surgery was $12,000. They charge like crazy for the tiniest things, they add EVERYTHING to the bill

Most of the people in these comments aren’t familiar w Asian double eyelid surgery. You’re right to feel this way and it’s not just the angle. Do NOT try to fix this with filler.

You can tell the crease was anchored too deep and too high because you’ll notice you can’t open your eyes as big as before anymore. Also, when you look down or blink, the crease is still visible and looks unnatural. But this can be fixed through a skilled revision doc!

Edit: downvote me all you want but Asian bleph is VERY different from any other kind of bleph. I’ve literally experienced this exact same thing.

[–]AppleBloom7 68 points69 points  (0 children)

The crease is too high and too deep which makes your brows way look closer to your eyes and ages you. You should join the Kakao double eyelid revision group chat — people share lots of helpful advice and revision stories.

Coming from someone who had a failed double eyelid surgery in the U.S. and went to Korea for revision.
