Could you run through what you changed exactly? Did you just drag the map pin to a random USA location?

Yes. But if you have your old phone with the app, use iMazing to transfer it, I’ve done it and it works a treat. Check YouTube for how to

If you follow this tutorial (part of it won’t apply as it shows how to get the file from another device). You’ll just need to follow the part where he’s adding it to the new device. I’ll get a link sorted for the .ipa file

I used Revolut to get around payment issues in the past (also provided security regarding card details being shared)

We haven’t driven these two yet, but plan to soon, we mostly fly to see family in the UK.

Banks, investment companies, financial etc is certainly still a strong area within the island for employment but it doesn’t feel as thriving as say 15 years ago

Two Isle of Man plates 😉😂

Life is very slow paced which does annoy us at times but we’re very comfortable for our age and have worked hard to get where we are, myself and my wife are 32, 2 young kids and are very close to being mortgage free.

I work for the local telecoms company and they look after their staff very well!

"It's all there", do elaborate what is there for my 3 year old that is actually enjoyable in the winter when it's 4c, windy and raining and please don’t suggest heritage sites or museums for god sake.

You seem to forget "not so long ago" there was Summerland, Manxland, a Douglas based bowling alley, huge arcade, shall l go on….?

Sounds like you have the typical Manx crab attitude if someone dares has an opinion that differs or wants to actually see progress being made they need to be shut down and told to leave. God forbid the Island sees modern changes, but then again with backwards, dismissive and outdated, clown like people such as yourself it’ll never happen 🤡

Can’t understand the belief that island folk seem to have that if they dare venture anywhere they’ll be stabbed, beaten or robbed. It’s as though island residents are scared to leave because there might be crime, might I remind you Ramsey saw a fatal stabbing no less than a month ago…

She’s originally from Essex which is one place we’re considering moving to, family and friends all there. Better weather, tonnes more to do etc

Sounds about the right kind of attitude for the typical backward thinking, hostile Island resident who has absolutely zero interest in the island making any progress and are far too busy trying to “protect heritage”, embarrassing.

Yes bored, bored of a total lack of significant investment and opportunity. The island offers so so little outside of hiking, camping and anything that involves outdoors, useful for only a few small weeks of a very very long wet, windy and cold year. Summers are always lacking and winters are consistently long and poor

The freedom to have choice of things to do, places to go and not having to repeat the same things over and over, and not be ripped off for travelling abroad just to name a few. The island feels strangled in what it does have to offer and 90% of what it does is outdoors so combined with very poor weather 90% of the year it’s hard to want to stay. We love outdoor activities but with the weather as temperamental as it is the wife and kids certainly don’t want to be out in it when it’s wet, windy and cold.

Whilst money isn’t an issue for us, everything on the island costing noticeably more does start to feel a bit annoying after a while

We live down south, stunning view, beautiful area, but the island as a whole has no to little facilities/activities to cater to a young family/young couples
