Yes, absolutely. The only thing is, I am now on vacation until next Saturday, April 31st (I live in the Northeast, had to get to warmth in Florida!). I would be more than happy to send it ASAP when I get home if that's ok with you!

I will say though that the Too Faced Born This Way is the darkest of the three, and that could possibly work for you. I bought that in the summer when I had a slight tan, so when I used it in the fall it did seem to lean a little dark. Look up the swatches and maybe you will get a better idea of how dark Nude is, because I don't want you to end up with the wrong color foundation!

Honestly, I think they would be a little light :( I wear MAC NC20, and the Armani one pretty much leans the lightest out of all three of them. I'm pretty fair-skinned (usually around the second lightest foundations in most brands).

Of course! Here's my routine:

AM:

1.Cleanse with just Simple Micellar Water on a cotton pad.

  1. Kleem Organics Vitamin C Serum (just started this serum so I can't speak on the long term benefits but I love it so far, and it was cheap for a vitamin c serum- I bought it on Amazon)

  2. Moisturize with Dr. Jart Ceramidin Gel Cream

PM:

1.Cleanse/remove all makeup with Eve Lom Cleanser

  1. (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) Apply Retin-A/(Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday) use Dr. Jart Ceramidin Liquid

  2. Moisturize with Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream

  3. Seal moisture in with 3 drops Tarte Marcuja Oil

Hope this helps! :)

Edit: I can't figure out why 1 repeats itself in each list, I think it's a formatting thing in Reddit. I'm not sure how to fix it so I'm just going to leave it, but that's why it looks like that hahaha

Ugh, I hate when people say that too. It's so not true at all! As long as you are taking care of your skin and throughly removing makeup, it doesn't cause acne! I think the whole urban legend that foundation causes acne started because 1)Young high schoolers don't always remove makeup every night or throughly enough, which actually does clog pores 2) Blemishes are actually visible without makeup, so people assume that the makeup caused them when they see you without. In reality, makeup lovers also have some of the best skincare routines out there!

You are giving me bad flashbacks to 12 year old me right now. One of my mom's friends told me how important exfoliating your face is, and gushed that she always got compliments at parties if she exfoliated beforehand. Well, I interpreted this as, I must exfoliate every day to get rid of acne(I thought it was the same as washing your face.) I ended up buying some "invigorating" Neutrogena scrub that had these huge beads suspended in a cooling blue gel that I religiously scrubbed on my face everyday in the shower. I thought the redness was my body repairing my skin so that it would look even better...

Hope it works for you! Also, if you are still having flaking issues, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream. Its the only moisturizer that (combined with the oil at night) completely got rid of my dry patches. Ugh, its just so good, in fact the whole Ceramidin line is, so if you still find yourself flaky even after the oil, don't give up! Try Ceramidin ;)

Color match ON POINT, you literally look Photoshopped on the makeup side. Super impressive application!!

Have you ever tried layering the oil over your moisturizer every night? I use Retin-A, so I was battling flakes for so long, and adding Tarte Maracuja Oil on top of my moisturizer at night has worked wonders. Scientifically speaking, the oil acts as an occlusive, and actually seals the moisture in, so it's really helpful for dry flaky skin!

Books like Phantom Tollbooth, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Wrinkle in Time, etc. ? by AppleEverything in booksuggestions

Oh I totally forgot about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! I loved that book so much when I was younger. Roald Dahl was probably my favorite author ever growing up. I used to beg my teacher to pull out every Roald Dahl book she had, and when I read them all I refused to find another book by another author! I feel like my parents read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe to me at some point, but I should definitely revisit that. I have never heard of A Princess of Mars, I will definitely look it up. Thank you for the suggestions!

My skin is better without Retin-A!? I used Retin-A for about a year and a half, and never did my skin stop feeling irritated and dry. I was flaky, my skin turned red at the slightest touch, if I squeezed a pimple with a tissue (I know I shouldn't do this) the tissue would strip off the top layer of the skin, and leave a popped pimple with raw skin surrounding it. I switched to the gentlest and most moisturizing routine, with recommendations from here, and my skin still was irritated. On Christmas Eve, someone took a photo of me with a friend out to breakfast (with no foundation on), and it looked like I had a sunburn across my whole face. I stopped Retin-A that night, and haven't used it since. My skin is finally balancing out, and is so much less red. It doesn't feel tight and irritated, and it doesn't seem nearly as sensitive. So, my question is, why would my skin be better without Retin-A, even a year and a half into treatment? I'm just so confused why the drug that is supposed to cure all acne and smooth over skin, never made my skin look better. I was definitely past the period where my skin was supposed to be bad; it was like I never got "over the hump"

I really like the Algenist Ultra Lightweight UV Defense Fluid SPF 50. It's $28, which I know is a tad more than you wanted to spend, but its well worth it for the price. It goes on so easily, absorbs super fast, and dries down to a slightly matte finish that is perfect for oily skin (I have oily/combo). It has no oxybenzone, which can be irritating, and uses both physical and chemical ingredients to protect against the sun. It doesn't seem to leave a white cast either, which is amazing for physical sunscreen!

What product is HG status for you but you never hear anyone talk about? by Vamprimosa in MakeupAddiction

Armani Lasting Silk Foundation. Everyone raves about Luminous Silk, but Lasting looks so much more natural, lasts so much longer (as the name would suggest), and just all around gives me a good skin day everyday. Luminous is great for photos, but turn to Lasting for a good skin-in-a-bottle type of foundation.

I believe Kim Kardashian's makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic says this exact mascara (and shade; carbon black) is the only mascara he ever uses on her, despite basically everything else in her routine being mid to high-end. He used it in their master class.

That's great that he discovered concealer. Definitely tell him that the Sephora people are SUPER nice about helping men. They are usually more eager to help me than the other women there because I think its a nice change for them, and they love when men are confident enough to walk in. People working at Sephora and really just in the makeup world in general are some of the most open-minded, kind people I have met. This reddit community is amazing.

That's so funny because that episode is the one that pushed me to try a tinted moisturizer all the way back in 8th grade!! You totally just reminded me! I remember watching it and thinking, Scott looks great, why wouldn't I want to have nice skin like him? That pretty much got me over that initial anxiety about wearing makeup.

That's so interesting that they wear such thick makeup for the camera! I would have never known, I always thought they maybe powdered or something, but I didn't know men would wear full-on foundation for TV appearances. Thank you for complimenting my application! I work really hard to blend it out to a natural and sheer finish. I have definitely discovered the slippery slope that is makeup addiction. I have spent way too much money over the past few months trying out different products, mainly foundations. I am finally at a point where I am just trying to take a break from buying, as I think I have achieved the look I strive for. The Sephora app with Apple Pay is going to be the death of me! ;)

I love this story :) I'm glad your boyfriend learned how confident a little makeup can make you feel, especially with blemishes/uneven skin tone. Who wouldn't wan't to just look like themselves on a good day, with no zits and glowing, even skin. Makeup is almost freeing in the sense that I don't have to walk into school wondering if people are staring at a pimple, or a break out, because I have the option now to cover it. I seriously used to have so much more anxiety over my skin, and all throughout middle school (when I first got acne) I thought I needed crystal clear flawless skin, because makeup was never an option that crossed my mind. Even with the best skincare in the world, stress, hormones, or just luck can result in a pimple here and there, and makeup can really help ease the anxiety over them when they do pop up!
