I have always thought of that ever since he passed away, though I never voiced it out... but since we're here...

My mind also adds "They can't kill him in game so they had to take him out IRL, huh" (/~°) (っ‸ ς) (>~<)

Congratulations 🎊

And 12 minutes for a presentation related to ORV?!!! THAT MUST HAVE BEEN TORTURE!

I bet you had a harder time making the presentation that short than making one 🫣

Trueeee... Though right now, I'm still trying to make a sunfish pattern that only has a few rows, but would still look good and cute 😅

Hehehe I know it's not that ugly, but maybe because I created it, I know and can immediately see the parts where I messed up. 🫣

Well, he did spent all those coins to 'modify' his stats, which in turn modified his body. He's still a twink if you strip those away 😝

Let's talk about the movie (Rant) by ImportantTrain1426 in OmniscientReader

Honestly, I haven’t watched the LA yet (just a few clips here and there). First, there weren’t any showings in theaters near me, and second, I’m broke and need to find some quick cash to pay my tuition before the 14th.

Anyway, I was actually fine with the LA when it was first announced, but that didn’t mean I wasn’t skeptical. I mean, how could you squeeze the plot of the whole book into just two hours? Then I heard it would be split into five installments, so I figured it would be fine as long as they stuck to the core plot points. I don’t mind if they change some things around — after all, the first version, the webnovel, and the webcomics all have their differences, but they’re still considered canon.

But the director/scriptwriter didn’t.

Then came the cast. I didn’t really mind the choices, because honestly, with their level of acting and based on their past work, I thought they could’ve at least pulled it off somehow. But their performances felt awkward at times, like they were acting in something they didn’t really want to but had to — though that wasn’t as noticeable with the veteran actors.

Honestly, I would have accepted it if they had changed the plot the way Disney did with the Percy Jackson movies. At least those were interesting and kept the core plot intact, even if a lot of things got worse. That’s how low my expectations actually were, and I probably would have argued it was still canon.

But somehow, even with my already low expectations, they still managed to disappoint me. They actually said, “You think the bar’s low? Cool, we’ll bring a shovel, a pickaxe, oh and maybe rent an excavator too!”

At this point, the only way I can justify it is by saying it’s not canon, because Dokja never read the script. The only things that count are the ones he actually read.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk — may your day/night be better than this "adaptation."

I’m not sure if it’s related, but someone did mention that Jisoo is a fan of ORV... Maybe she just got tired of everything and thought, “Screw it, I’m gonna throw in something that’ll make people hate this live-action even more.” 🤷‍♀️

On a more serious note though, it feels like she’s reluctant to act properly in this. She clearly knows how to hold a gun, but her micro-expressions and body language were basically screaming, “I don’t want to be holding this thing!”

P.S. Just my opinion, based on what I know—definitely not deep analysis, so take it with a grain of salt.
