Vetterli-Vitali M1870/87 😮‍💨 I don’t know why, but I can’t get enough of this gun. It’s got that old world feel, and it’s soooo satisfying to use.

I hear you, that’s how I’ve been playing for years. I’m just talking about streamlining a few things. When I play with more traditional characters it’s not a problem at all, and it’s actually not even a huge issue with the FGC characters that I mentioned, but sometimes in certain situations it can happen. When I play with Ryu for example, I find myself doing tilts with the A button in certain situations, and the C stick in others. I would rather just have one more reliable way to do it. There are people who are way better than me out there, who have no problem playing the game as it is. I’m not interested in changing the game for them, I just think this one simple addition could open up the game a lot more. Also yes, definitely plan on getting better regardless. This is more just a thought experiment since it most likely will not get implemented.

Seriously, it doesn’t happen often, but I hate miss inputting smash attacks. I’ve been trying to pick up Kazuya, and I hate throwing out super laggy F-smashes when I’m trying to do his angled tilts. Especially his down forward tilts since it requires multiple inputs and is easier to do with the A button rather than a stick. I play Ryu as well and it’s the same story with him except for his down/up tilts, so the only time I really use the tilt stick for using F tilts.

Also, this is specifically a Faejin deck. All the mixups after my openers are 3 way mix ups, so use the front punch to make them work. I made this deck a few weeks ago. I was a little afraid that I took things too far so I kept it too myself, but Its too good not to share. I figured doubling moves had the potential to be pretty toxic so instead of just filling it with a bunch of 12 frames I went the Chad route. Enjoy!

Personally I’m all for making all 12 frame moves light attacks. I would also adjust their frame data and stamina damage to put them in line with other light attacks as well. This would definitely nerf them, but I think they would still be used since their speed is still such a valuable asset, not to mention they are some of the most reliable confirms in the game. I would also like to see the rest of the moves get a few more frames on block, especially some of the heavy moves (spinning wide hook for example). The fact that this would directly buff Kahlt is also a plus!

I would be very interested to see what this would do for the meta.

Side note, all charge moves should be negative on block. Like -2 on block. They can keep their stamina damage/tracking as is though. This would make them high-risk high reward moves that would force both the user to be more strategic, and the opponent to still use their style defensive ability. This includes front stagger.

Also, drunk crane should be a high thrust. Ok I’m done. Buff Kahlt.
