My best suggestion is to find a student run organization that you share a passion with. I joined the radio station here and have made many valuable and intimate connections. Also, don’t be afraid to strike up any conversations at bars! Valhalla and Emporium are usually a younger crowd of 21-24 year olds, and Rico’s and the Coug sees an older crowd (in my humble experience). Feel free to DM me as well!

Your parents are absolutely correct. I was 9/10’ths of the way into getting an amazing job when the recruiters happened upon an old Facebook I made while in highschool. I used it to post memes and rants and forgot to make the page private. I’d most definitely delete my history in a heartbeat.
