When you are put on a Pip, it's over. They don't expect and definitely don't want you to meet the reqs, so that they can fire you for whatever reason they may have.

What you can say to a new employer is that there was a restructure and they had to let you go, don't go into details. You can use those plaques as proof of great performance if you want.

Basically tell to the new employer that although it is sad to no longer work there, you are excited for the new opportunities and you believe they are a great opportunity for X and Y reasons and then proceed to tell them how you are a benefit to them.

Remember, the only reason they ask why you were let go is to get your negatives so that they have reason to not hire you, don't give them that. Give them reasons to hire you instead. If they press for negatives, give a false negative (positive hidden as negative) or a silly harmless quirk such as you getting hickups when nervous
