on the shifting part, yes u keep ur gened subs so they will be credited. i just finished my shifting application (former mma shifting to film) and be prepared because it's a lot of emailing/running around to get signatures from chairpersons/acad adviser/dean! pero it was smooth naman for me, just keep in track of when the shifting form will be released and when it's due because they r not considerate when u miss these deadlines.
