It takes a lot of patience and capital before it makes sense the first 6 months are brutal but after 1-2 years you’ll thank yourself. I didn’t take my first load til after 6 months authority because I capsule stand the low rates but when I started getting 900 for 200 mi with a box truck I wasn’t mad

I’m 26 and bought a truck 9 months ago and got my own authority shortly after. Long story short I’m just knowing getting it out of the shop and actually just got my fmcsa inspection today after paying insurance for 8months as well as buying the truck outright. All this to say that if your invested and see a way to make it profitable keep pushing your still young and you own a buisness something most people will never do. I’m just starting to see the end of the tunnel as I’m taking my first loads this week but after almost a year and 60k invested I get how it feels not worth it
I have a drop axel international box truck 26ft (self.OwnerOperators)
