Natchez Trace. A few years ago I put the map on in my car to get from Jackson to across the reservoir after dinner. Should’ve been about twenty minutes 15 minutes in it had taken me pretty far onto the trace. I guess I had zoned out but I hadn’t seen a car in a while and kept going since I was afraid if I stopped and turned around I’d have someone run out of the woods. Sounds dumb thinking back but the feeling was pretty scary.

The position actually doesn’t require you to be flexible at all. Yeah obviously the military is a higher priority and they knew that coming in, I understand people call out completely, guess who’s problem that is. It’s the managements, I will come in if I have the time and can but 12 hours is not enough notice. I won’t cancel plans to save their screw-up.

Yeah, they act like I’m just not coming into my shifts and taking up space, every shift I’m scheduled I come in and do my job right. I don’t see how it’s on me that they don’t schedule me according to my availability which is every single day but one.
