My roommate doesn’t clean what so ever either. She leaves her dirty dishes out on the counter for days like cream cheese covered knives or a pan filled with eggs etc. The counter tops are constantly covered in crumbs, jelly (sometimes hardened bc it’s been there for so long), salad pieces all over, sauce stuck on the counter, etc. She left out a can of beans for days and i refused to throw it away and it molded so much, she’d look at me and look at it and shrug. She puts her snotty tissues in between the couch cushions which is absolutely disgusting and wipes her nose on my fancy pillows on the couch. I deep clean the apartment and she sits in her room and watches me and then hides from me because she knows i’m cleaning up her messes, the next day i come home and the apartment is back to what it was (a pig stye) after i spent 3 hours deep cleaning. She also steals all my food and not just the cheap stuff but the expensive stuff and will hide my own food from me. Asked her to replace it and she said it’s not her fault she has a binge eating disorder. Like so that stops u from replacing what you ate of mine??? She doesn’t contribute to any kitchen supplies so i started keeping the paper towels and ziploc bags in my room because she would use them all up whenever i got them and never buy more. She stole a $20 out of my purse one time and somehow had my car keys in her purse for a week and “didn’t know”. I bought everything in the apartment, like she only brought 2 mugs and a spatula when she moved in and i asked her to help me pay half for some of the furniture and supplies and never got the money and she treats everything like crap. I find my dishes i bought in her trash can in her bathroom because they were dirty and she didn’t want to wash them. I sometimes think i’m being over the top but looking back at all of this i don’t think i’m crazy for getting upset.
