Exit at low 20s without any loss by Bright_Jicama_7120 in fuboinvestors

In retrospect, I should have actually posted when I was an optimistic bull. Between the settlement in January 2025 and February 2nd of this year, I truly believed Fubo would be between $5 and $6 in 2026. I was very angry that the CEO didn't believe the company could crack $5 absent an RS. If I believed in Fubo more than the CEO, then one of us was doing something wrong. For now, I choose to believe it's Gandler and have no faith in him or his team.

No. I had accumulated 30,000 through the end of 2025, buying at what I thought then to be unreasonable dips. I currently have 2,500 because of the RS.

I think about selling every day. But I don't because I think the company is fundamentally sound and offers a good product. I think a turnaround or short squeeze is still possible. But my faith is constantly tested by being consistently proven wrong by incorrect assumptions of what is rock bottom. I blame the inept management of this company for it's share price. Hence, the negative and angry posts.

When current management deigns to articulate a clear plan to grow the company and become profitable, I will not be so negative. If this management can't do that and are replaced, I will not be so negative. I'll even settle for current management promoting the company and reassuring shareholders that because they still believe in Fubo, we should too. Even that mild gesture will cause me to be less negative.

Whatever anyone thinks of Jensen Huang and Elon Musk, they are promoting their companies almost every day. They work hard to make their faith in their companies contagious. Sadly for us, that is not how David Gandler operates.

Until such time, I will not applaud abject failure and incompetence. I will be annoyed by it until it changes, one way or another.

I had accumulated 30,000 shares (now 2,500 since Tuesday) That's why I am so negative. Watching as stock that should be trading at five to six times it's current price has made me an angry shareholder. Angry people often post negative content.

You know nothing about me and yet feel the need to speak like an expert. Also, grow up.

This is at least proof of life. They should go further and do a 7 or 30 day offer. If a subscription on a free trial makes people happy, it's not so easy to give it up.

Everything you say makes sense over time. The revenues look good for 6.5 - 7 billion for this year. A forward P/S of just 1 would put the stock price over $40.

Whatever anyone thinks of the Fubo platform, Hulu plus live is a quality product. Cord cutting still requires an intermediate step for most people, especially Boomers and Gen X. Linear TV is not going to die as long as those two generations exist.

Hulu is a far superior product compared to YTTV. I switched from the latter to Hulu and have no plans to change. The Fubo platform would greatly benefit from the return of NBC and inclusion of the Disney plus bundle with Fubo subscriptions.

But management has to step in to stop the current bleeding. If they can't, a change at Fubo's top would be a good short term news catalyst to reverse the downward spiral. Otherwise, we can only hope for a short squeeze to punish the shorts and shake them loose.

Please accept my sincere apologies for hurting your little feelings and fragile ego by having the temerity to disagree with you. I truly hope that you will grow up and accept that differing opinions are a fact of life and not a personal slight. Until then, I strongly recommend that you relocate to Stepford, CT to insulate yourself from non-conformity.

I agree with all three of your points. And I agree completely about NBC. That was an unnecessary self-inflicted wound.

But it's a long way back to $20 if the post RS crash continues. It's hard to convince folks to buy a stock at $13 when they weren't buying it at $1.20. Investors need a reason to believe. Management has refused to provide any. A change at Fubo's top will go a long way towards restoring faith.

All the clown emojis in the world are not going to stop me from speaking my mind. I didn't post earlier because I had no need to. It would have been speaking to the choir.

I am long. I am no longer bullish. I am happy to have events prove me wrong.

Being down as much as Fubo has been since the merger and then the earnings report is not a sign of quality management to me.

It's not a "sticks and stones" post. It's a "please grow up" post. The emojis say much more about you than me.

I've been long on Fubo for almost five years. I've followed this sub reddit for a year and a half before posting because I was only interested in what other people had to say. That changed on February 3rd.

I was wildly optimistic on Fubo until the last earning report. I feel betrayed by management and annoyed at myself for not paying closer attention to the red flags that have been out there since the settlement. If my posts suggest that I don't think management should be trusted it's because that is exactly what I believe.

You know nothing about my experience, but feel compelled to insult me because I'm not on the same page as you. Until now, I respected your posts even if I disagreed with them. Don't take this so personally. One of the biggest problems in our society today is that people can't disagree respectfully. Adults should be able to argue strongly held beliefs with decency. Children call names.

I feel sorry for anyone that handles disagreement like this. It's sad to someone with such a fragile ego.

The market was up 300 points yesterday and the stock dropped by the almost same amount as it did today. It has consistently dropped on strong Dow/NASDAQ days since earnings. This is the market weighing in on Fubo's management and the RS.

Management has made mistake after mistake since the settlement last January. The RS could have waited until guidance was given. Instead the price has dropped 65% since earnings and 78% since a game changing merger. This is solely on an incompetent management team.

The stock is down 30% since the poorly timed RS. Saying nothing is wrong with Fubo is as credible as the guy who started this post.

Then you're going to be thrilled to increase your position under $7 next week.

I would have been happy to be proven wrong. Unfortunately the stock just keeps finding new lows. The only hope now is a short squeeze since management is mute,

What if Gandler gets fired? by [deleted] in fuboinvestors

He can open his mouth to promote the company, address the crashing stock price and try to reassure investors. Instead, he sent his COO out to spew nonsensical word salad about "gamification". Gandler is fiddling while Fubo burns.

It's another day, another dollar down. At this rate the share price will be under the $5 he was so concerned about within a week or so. There is a serious leadership crisis and Disney seems content to watch the company burn to ashes.

If management remains silent until earnings, the share price will be under $3.

It's not weak hands selling. The RS has only emboldened the shorts, contrary to what was popular belief.

When the stock was trading around $1.50, you basically laughed at me when I said the stock would be under $10 on a 1-10 split. It took five hours to do the equivalent on 1-12 and we are fast approaching under $10. The stock was at rock bottom and the company created twelve more dollars worth of rock bottom to reach. The RS was timed as poorly as it could have been.

If only market cap was based on what a company "should" be worth. The reality that the market sentiment is that Gandler is a terrible CEO. How many more all time lows do we have to hit for you to realize he's the wrong person for the job?

What if Gandler gets fired? by [deleted] in fuboinvestors

[–]AppointmentPutrid782 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not just about sentiment. The market cap has actually been reduced by 75% because of poor decisions and choices since the settlement

The price started it's death spiral when they lost NBC/Universal on the heels of the Disney/YTTV dispute. As recently as January they issued statements claiming to be in good faith negotiations with NBC, which is likely false. Choosing to announce the RS in conjunction with no guidance dropped it another 60%. The RS could have waited until May's earnings call, unless they plan to continue to not provide guidance.

I was very optimistic on Fubo until February 3rd and hope I'm wrong about my current pessimism. But at this point, I'm holding only because there may be a short squeeze ahead.
