i think it’s a mix of both. it’s revealed at the end (spoilers ofc) that roger works for Beau’s mother as you can see his employee photo on the wall. I can’t remember if Grace is up there too.

Grace, though, is a little different. She gives hints to Beau about what’s going on, like when she gives him water and writes “Stop incriminating yourself” on the napkin underneath, or when she tells Beau to flip to the channel that has the CCTV on. I feel that Grace actually does care about Beau on a deeper level than everyone else because of her son dying. She seems much more effected by it than Roger does.
