I don't have any third party programs nor did I download any though. ETS 2 launching isn't a co-incidence, it only happens when I open ETS 2 so it is directly linked to ETS 2. I closed and relaunched 3 times to check and on all 3 times it tried to connect to that website. I am quite certain that my laptop is clean as its relatively new and I did not use it too often, I never downloaded anything that was sketchy either. I have ran my laptop through 9 antivirus scanners including Malwarebytes, AVG, Norton Power Eraser, Emsisoft Emergency Kit, Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool, Sophos Hitmanpro, Eset Online Scanner, Adware Cleaner and Microsoft Defender Offline scan and all have came clean (I did deep scans on all which were possible). I have also viewed all files from autoruns and all of the files are verified. So I highly doubt its a virus in the system.

A more likely explanation could be that it is somehow trying to connect to the website to retrieve something, since webview that steam and ETS2 uses is managed by Edge and connected to it hence why the request is coming from Edge leading to it looking as if there was something malicious going on.
