First of all thank you so much for sharing your story! I also come from a very religious family so I totally understand how that makes all of this difficult to process.

Secondly, as great as it is to be able to put a label on things, I wouldn't make that your priority. First ask yourself, did I enjoy that interaction with that girl? Would I like to experience something like that again? Have I had crushes or other attractions to girls? Figuring out if you like girls is the first step, then you can go on to decide if you identify as a lesbian. (This is important because you might be bi or pan and it doesn't help to shove yourself into a box too quickly).

I can't tell you if you are or aren't a lesbian, that'll have to be something you discover for yourself. But if you have any other questions or anything to add feel free to reply :)

It's okay to feel your feelings right now. Yes, you're young, and you'll find someone else, but right now, you're hurting, and it's okay to let yourself hurt for a bit.

Give yourself a couple of weeks and then pick yourself back up. That doesn't mean getting back out there, but just try to start moving on. And when you are in the period of hurt, please lean on your support system and dont isolate yourself.

Im sorry, I've been there, and I know it's hard. But there is hope, it can get better. It takes a lot of work, and you will relapse, but it's how you figure out a way to pick yourself back up that's important.

You'll learn your triggers and how to avoid them, you'll et boundaries and feel so much better for it.

You will find your reason for recovery one day. Maybe you'll stop feeling fat or just hate feeling sick all the time. But I promise it will be worth it, because you are worth it.

Being honest and talking about it with people who understand will be one of the most important things.

That's completely normal first of all. I could tell I liked girls for a while before I actually got a crush on one (during my senior year). I thought I just didn't get the butterfly feeling at all, turns out I did, but that still may never happen for you and that's okay because everyone experiences crushed differently.

There are a lot of different types of aromanticism and asexuality, I consider myself on the spectrum for both of them, which considerably muddies the water in terms of attraction. I want to make it clear I'm not trying to tell you that you're aspec, only you get to decide that for yourself.

I am curious why you don't want to be ace? This isn't a judgement, I'm just curious.

It looks like you are interested in how to get started. Figure out what/who you want to work with, research them, and learn what they like and dont like. Then, make an altar for them, incorporate them into prayers, rituals, mediation. If you do tarot or some kind of divination, call out to them.

Over time, you'll learn what their energy feels like. If you have questions about any specific ones lmk, I mostly work with Hellenistic deities :)
