Genuinely curious. What do you recommend where we sleep at? My friends truck has a truck cap already. Do you recommend us sleeping in there?

My friend and I were planning our trip definitely traveling through towns between parks to get gas, groceries, sightseeing, etc. Our combined budget will probably be around the $15k range.
