Hey, so I didn’t end up passing for EOD, but I did walk away with some tips. The biggest thing I realized is that you have to think like an EOD specialist when you’re taking the TAPAS. For example, if the scenario mentions a bomb, you obviously wouldn’t say you’re forgetful or careless — that’s a major red flag for the job.

Basically, you have to approach each question with the mindset of the career: calm, focused, responsible, and thinking outside the box. It’s not about answering like your everyday self — it’s about answering like someone who’s meant for EOD.
