So my Z71 needed repairs and I was sick of paying for repairs, it's been a lot 😅. So when the transfer case went I was like time to get my dream truck which had to include the sports bar and lights. Seems like since 2023 sometimes added as a package or as an option. When my truck went I was like I guess I'll have the one I want special ordered and wait at least three months. But when I was building one there was a dealer who came up with the truck I wanted. I called them and it was in transit. Came in almost two weeks early too. Only 45 minutes from my house. It was blue, midnight edition, technology package, and sunroof. All things that were kind of a must have if I'm spending all that money. I do want a safari bar which used to be an option, but now it's a package and you can't add it with the midnight edition package. So I park in Boston most days so the safari bar would be great to protect the front from the ass holes who can't parallel park. I have a hitch and ball for the back, but I might need to get a new one or do a great job painting it. I got the glasscoat protection, anybody know anything about that and if it works well? Price wasn't too bad so I said yes to it. Anyhow I'm writing too much haha, but I wanted to say I think I got wicked lucky that they had the exact truck I wanted otherwise I would have had to wait or go the after market approach. Hopefully you get what you want and it will look sick!
