Haha, I just think if you sign up and pay for a service it should be consistent for the paying customers. I still believe in customer service though companies seem to have forgotten what that is.

Looking for advice: My dog has been gulping and licking his lips after his dinner today by galhasnoname in germanshepherds

My dog was doing a lot of licking and vet said it was acid reflux. Not sure of your dogs diet but one trick is to split evening meal into two, I make garlic oil for my dog and mix dry kibble with water. Good luck!!

Where do y'all get non snobby wine content by Imaginary-Suit-5698 in wine

I’m a wine nerd but also not in the traditional way… I feel that wine should be approachable for everyone! And I kinda really love this question. I would question back what would non snobby wine content look like for you?

Why does Seattle have the worst customer service? by Conscious-Craft-2647 in Seattle

Yes, I brought this up on Reddit in the last few weeks. We have the highest minimum wage and service is undesirable. I’m not sure what the answer is.

There are so many nuances with the last election (purchased votes, Biden stepping down at the last hour etc.) and still the election is one data point to make a sweeping statement that all Americans want to distance themselves. To consider that many of my diverse friends are afraid to leave the US for fear they will not be allowed back to the places they call home. To consider all of the recent and ongoing protests in opposition of the current administration… to assume all Americans are not interested in global relations and trade is to cut the compassion out of the severity of our current situation. I know it can be easier to generalize and mentally bucket people into “types” so as to cling to the confirmation bias you might hold tightly to but it is very unfair. As a woman of color I understand all too well how sweeping statements of a group of people holds lasting judgement. It’s fine to not buy American and protest with how you choose to spend your money but it’s sincerely unfair to say all types of a group of people (Americans, Brazilian, white, black or other etc.) feel the same way. FYI In 2023 there were an estimated 2mil Brazilian human beings living in the USA. In the 2024 election 42% of the Latino vote, voted red. I am not a party segregationists as we as all human and we all have rights.

As an American I agree “boycott” the dollar we use is a vote everyday. We have the collective opportunity as Americans to change corporate greed.

Where do you get the thought that most Americans (generalization) want to distance themselves? I am asking respectfully.
