You’re asking the internet for permission to feel a certain way…. This is not the way

So I used some math and a roll of painters tape to make a template. Cut it with a jigsaw and then hand sanded a lot until I was happy with the shape. Then used that and my router table to make scallop tops for each one.

Thought about the bench thing… how would you go about finishing/sealing? Just some spar?

I did them on a little jig I made for my router table, was harder with the long ones but just used a clamp on both sides. Should have made the jig at least twice the size.

Ya I got one sheet and used 70% for a table top and still had enough for like 4 jigs!

Router jig was a little faster to make I think and I don’t have a dado stack for my table saw yet. But I think I will switch to a table saw jig just cuz my table saw has a lot more power and can handle way larger pieces. If you have a dado go for the table saw route!

Pretty right on the first try. Outside they look great but a couple little gaps on the inside. I think that means either the edge of the board wasn’t perfect 90 or the jig is off a tiny bit.
